The repairs made in July of on the f-indicated in the complaint letter were done in accordance with Ford Motor Company policy and per work shop manual The High pressure oil pump o-ring was blown out causing the truck’s no start The o-ring was replaced and the engine promptly started The truck had developed another concern approximately a month later and miles after initial repair in JulyThis concern was an intermittent no start, but jumping the vehicle would allow it to start The truck came back to us and we diagnosed an intermittent alternator charging concern, but the guest would not initially accept the diagnosis because they had just installed an after market alternator on their own However, they decided to have the alternator replaced and again drove the truck for month, and again it died on them The truck was brought back to us and we diagnosed that it needed an injection pressure regulator (IPR) at this point, and the guest was extremely upset and understandably so However, this newest concern was unrelated to the first concern, although the guest believed we should have caught the IPR at the time of the o-ring replacement on the high pressure oil pump The guest took the vehicle from our repair facility and was not charged for the latest diagnosis The guest then called and complained and was offered in house credit which they did not want to accept, but the credit was still applied to their account I am unsure what happened from October of until it went to the repair facility in Oshkosh in January of The repair shop in Oshkosh found the high pressure oil pump o-ring blown out again - but due to a miss-manufactured aftermarket high pressure oil PUMPWitt Ford called the repair facility in Oshkosh and received a clear understanding of the concern and repair, and was advised that only reason they found it was slightly miss-manufactured was due to the history of this truck and it would not be something that would normally be caught upon o-ring replacement on the high pressure oil pump The concluding concern here is really with the aftermarket high pressure oil pump that some other shop had installed BEFORE Witt Family Ford ever initially worked on the vehicleTherefore in conclusion Witt Family Ford is not responsible for reimbursement to the guest as they are requesting Thank you, Paul [redacted] Director of Fixed OperationsWITT FAMILY FORDWHwy 160Pulaski WI PHONE: 920-822-FAX: 920-822-

I have talked with Lori, and I am trying to work something out However, Witt Ford takes no responsibility for the leaky tank The recall was a Ford Motor Company issue, not Witt Ford The recall was performed properly, and the rust from the tank caused the leak I have talked with Ford Motor Company, and they feel that the recall was not performed in a timely manner, which caused rust build up They are not taking any action on this matterHowever, I do understand this is an unfortunate circumstances that can happen from time to time It puts the customer in the middle of something, which is not necessarily her fault I have talked with Lori, and will be offering her some kind of discount to hopefully fix the problemSincerely, Witt Family Ford

The repairs made in July of 2016 on the f-350 indicated in the complaint letter were done in accordance with Ford Motor Company policy and per work shop manual.  The High pressure oil pump o-ring was blown out causing the truck’s no start.  The o-ring was replaced and the engine...

promptly started.  The truck had developed another concern approximately a month later and 1000 miles after initial repair in July. This concern was an intermittent no start, but jumping the vehicle would allow it to start.  The truck came back to us and we diagnosed an intermittent alternator charging concern, but the guest would not initially accept the diagnosis because they had just installed an after market alternator on their own.  However, they decided to have the alternator replaced and again drove the truck for month, and again it died on them.  The truck was brought back to us and we diagnosed that it needed an injection pressure regulator (IPR) at this point, and the guest was extremely upset and understandably so.  However, this newest concern was unrelated to the first concern, although the guest believed we should have caught the IPR at the time of the o-ring replacement on the high pressure oil pump.  The guest took the vehicle from our repair facility and was not charged for the latest diagnosis.  The guest then called and complained and was offered in house credit which they did not want to accept, but the credit was still applied to their account.  I am unsure what happened from October of 2016 until it went to the repair facility in Oshkosh in January of 2017.  The repair shop in Oshkosh found the high pressure oil pump o-ring blown out again - but due to a miss-manufactured aftermarket high pressure oil PUMP. Witt Ford called the repair facility in Oshkosh and received a clear understanding of the concern and repair, and was advised that only reason they found it was slightly miss-manufactured was due to the history of this truck and  it would not be something that would normally be caught upon o-ring replacement on the high pressure oil pump.  The concluding concern here is really with the aftermarket high pressure oil pump that some other shop had installed BEFORE Witt Family Ford ever initially worked on the vehicle. Therefore in conclusion Witt Family Ford is not responsible for reimbursement to the guest as they are requesting.  Thank you, Paul [redacted] Director of Fixed OperationsWITT FAMILY FORDW1367 Hwy 160Pulaski WI 54162 PHONE: 920-822-1133 FAX: 920-822-1144
