I just wanted to say that Simon did exactly what he said he was going to do. They showed up sharply at 8am on a saturday. They installed a new furnace for us without any problems. They were clean and fast everything works fine. I would definitely recommend Flame Co Heating Services Ltd to everyone.
I hired Flame Co Heating Services , Port Coquitlam primarily because it was Revdex.com Accredited. However, they way they Simon ( the guy who repaied my furnace) conducted himself was very disappointing. My fireplace was function ok but making noise. Simon mentioned to me that he would charge $70.00 for diagnosis and any part replacement would be extra. On examination of furnace he suggesed that Regulator needed to be replaced. He replaced the regulator and charged me $200.00 for part and labor. ( tax extra). He told me that he had checked everything and the furnace was working ok. However, within hours, furnace stopped working. On contacting Simon, he suggested me to press the Reset button. Pressing reset button would start the furnace but it would stop again. I asked Simon to come and fix it. Simon asked for another $70.00 for diagnosis. Only after I threatened to stop his payment and complain that he agreed to come without Diagnosis charge of $70.00. Next, he pronounced that Reset button needed to be replaced. He replaced the Reset button and charged me $40.00 plus $50.00 labor ( plus tax). I asked him to show me the invoice of the Reset Button but he refused. The whole experience left me disappointed as even Revdex.com Accredited companies would try to rip you off.
