I made a purchase on Jan 22. Shipping took over 2 weeks bc my order got held up in customs for a week. Tracking information was not updated to reflect this delay until I emailed the company to ask what was going on. The items I ordered did not arrive in time for the event for which I ordered them, despite having ordered with plenty of time. I was also charged a handling fee by customs bc they had the items for so long. The company failed to answer any emails until my 3rd email. There continue to be significant delays in getting responses from them. They refuse to consider that the items had to have been mislabelled to create a week long delay in customs, and they aren't even looking up ordering information while they're arguing with me that they aren't at fault. All I'm asking for is a refund and that they pay return shipping bc the items were late and the service has been so poor.

Desired Settlement ID: Refund I would like a full refund at the exchange rate for which I paid for the items, and return shipping to be covered by the company. Ideally, I would like them to compensate for the customs handling fee, but ultimately I just want a refund & return shipping paid by them.

This customer is using a false name.

The order was shipped in less than 24 hours after it was purchased. Our customers are emailed the tracking number as soon as it is made. We have no control of how often tracking numbers are updated by the postal system or how fast a package moves within the postal system. We also have no control over when or how long packages are in Customs. Sometimes packages are held up there and sometimes they are not.

We are happy to refund all returned orders.

The business is failing to address the fact that they ignored several emails I sent them. I am not using a false name. They never bothered to verify ordering information before they began arguing with me (when they finally did decide to briefly answer me) - if they had, they would have the correct name. I also explained in an email they never acknowledged that that was not my primary email address and therefore, for my privacy, was not associated with my name. Which again, they would have had, had they checked the ordering information. However, this complaint on their end is besides the overall point - that their customer service was abysmal. They didn't answer most of my emails, in the few replies I did receive, they told me they would look into return shipping costs (after I insisted - they never offered anything to attempt to rectify the situation/compensate for the initial delays in response) & then I never heard back from them. I still believe the items were improperly labelled which is what caused the more than week long delay in customs. Especially considering when I returned the items, they arrived back in less than a week. I still have yet to receive my refund.
