Review: We recently used this company to install our central air system and signed a maintenance contract for our oil heating system. While away on our honeymoon, we lost heat. Our house sitter called Flanders and she was told that we did not have a service agreement with them. However, we have been paying into this service agreement for several months now. They agreed to come out to do work regardless and reset our burner. They did not do any additional repairs and left the house with the heat on. About 6 hours later the heat went out again and there was a large water leak that caused a flood in the finished basement. When calling another company to fix the issue, we were told that there was air in the lines and that the relief valve popped off causing the leak. Because we were so dissatisfied with Flanders work and service, we called to cancel our service agreement with them when we returned from our honeymoon in January 2014. After many phone calls back and forth, our service agreement was cancelled. As of April. we are still being charged for our service agreement. When calling to investigate the reason for this, we were told that they didn't cancel our service agreement because we owed them 7 months on the contract despite the negligent work that they completed on our burner. So, we are out the cost of their service contract in addition to the second service agreement we purchased from another company (after being told by Flanders in January that they would cancel us) in addition to thousands of dollars in damages to our home due to this leak. When contacting the service department manager today, we were told there is nothing they can do for us.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of our service agreement with this company.
