On April 17, 2015 I was traveling from St Louis to Memphis. Gas was getting low so we stopped at flash Market #38 in [redacted] I used my debit card and paid for 30 dollars worth of gas and the [redacted] with [redacted] with [redacted] stated that her receipt machine was down. I went to fill up but the car only took $21 and some change. I went back into the gas station and told her it only took $21 and she stated that my debit card will be debited the amount I used for gas which was the $21. I didn't think anything of it because it happens all the time and my card is debited what I used except for this gas station. I called and talked to [redacted] today 4/24/2015 and she was nasty with me and told me I need a receipt. I told her that the [redacted] said it was down. She said its nothing she can do. That is very unacceptable and I know for a fact she stole my money and that is a crime.Product_Or_Service: GasOrder_Number: XXXXXXAccount_Number: XXXXXXDesired SettlementThe difference is about $8 and some change. I want The $8 dollars back times 50 which is a total of $40 and I would like her arrested and fired! What she did is a crime. I rented a compact car and if you call [redacted] they will tell you that the car rented does not take $30 to fill up. The car was rented under [redacted] May on 4/17/2015 at approximately 9:30 am from [redacted] here in st Louis by the [redacted]. I also have my bank statement showing the $30 and showing the remainder was never credited Business Response The cashier that was in this dispute no longer works for us so we could not trace the incident to see what happen. I got with the manager and she informed me that she has contacted the customer and gave her the disputed amount to hopefully put an end to the situation and satisfy the customer. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I spoke with the young lady and gave her my address. I have not received anything from them and when I tried to call I was put on hold for several minutes. It was an 8 dollar difference and I would've think that they rather pay that then to pay more for the crime their employee committed. It has been over 30 days and I still haven't heard anything from them. At this point I would like my 8 dollars back x50 and a written apology sent to me by certified mail so this can be on record. I have contacted my lawyer but I have to wait until the Revdex.com conducts their investigation then he can proceed if nothing is done. That company has my address and phone number but yet refuse to contact me to give an update or something. I am very, very upset because a company is supposed to compensate you when you're a victim of one of their employees. Now my anger has escalated to the point I am ready to take further action if my request is not met. As stated above I will like my 8 dollars x50 back and a written apology from the company.Final Business Response Again we apologize for the inconvenience that caused Ms. [redacted] to be out the $8.00. The cashier who again is no longer working for us made a mistake not theft gave Ms. [redacted] the wrong information on how she would be credited the money. The manager spoke to Ms. [redacted] and apologized and got her mailing address and sent her the $8.00 because the cashier was over in her drawer the $8.00 she is referring too. I told the manager usually with a situation like that where we inconvenience a customer we should have gave her a gift card as well for the trouble caused. We will still be glad to give her $40.00 for her inconvenience if that is what she is wanting. This is our last response to this issue because there is nothing more we can do but if she would like to call me and give me her address I would be more than happy to get her the money.
