I was reluctant to venture from the norm by not having a full-service Realtor handle my home sale. The flat fee approach sounded great, but I thought there had to be a catch! I was pleasantly surprised to find out there wasn't a catch, just a great deal that made a great deal of sense!
Edgar "Eddie" D was phenomenal as my flat fee Realtor. As long as you follow his directions, do your part in providing timely, accurate information and if you don't need a lot of "hand holding" or chit-chat time, you will find this is a very efficient way to sell your home.
Eddie and I worked together to set my asking price. The house was on the market within a day of the photo shoot and it sold ---for the full asking price -- within six hours of the listing "going live".
Eddie has a vast knowledge of real estate transactions, title companies, financing, insurance and everything else that comes in to play when selling your residence. Just listen to him, take his advice and I bet you'll be as delighted with the outcome as I was!

I usually sell my own houses but I had a ton on my plate, so a friend recommended Eddie - The Flat Fee Guy. I gave him a call and asked him how it works and after careful consideration, I decided to go with him. I figured $799 compared to 10K - it's worth a try! He provided me with answers to all my questions, provided me with signage, a key box and an MLS listing. Within 30 hours I had two offers and Eddie worked the negotiations with both of the other realtors. I ended up selling my house quickly AND Eddie got me 10K over asking price!! What a deal! I saved $9200 and got $10K more than asking - which means I got an additional $19,200 than I was expecting when I first decided to sell! WOW! Can't complain about getting more money than you expect!

My experience was great with Eddie! I thought he did much more work than expected for his fee. And he saved us a bunch of money!

Worst real estate transaction experience ever! I thought I'd save some money but The Flat Fee Guy, Eddie ***, almost cost me a sale because of his lack of communication and failure to pass on pertinent closing information. He made multiple mistake related to listing the correct price on the MLS and even today, 2 days after the sale of my home, he still hasn't updated the MLS, its still showing the listing as active. I've used other flat fee real estate firms in the past and been satisfied, so don't be afraid to go the flat fee route, I just wouldn't use this guy!
