Review: This company exhibited great customer service initially, and I was hopeful the service would be as stellar as they advertised. My move involved furniture that was very delicate and fragile (I shared this when requesting services). I also inquired about adding insurance to my move - which I was told I "did not need because Flatpack Delivery had a stellar/no incident track record." I read the online reviews from [redacted] and the Company's (Flatpack's) website; and had no reason to mistrust what I was told. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Both my Lacquer Dining Room Table and Wooden Headboard were damaged. The table was severely damaged. I initially discovered small chips and scrapes to the table once we arrived at the destination. I pointed it out to the managing mover, who suggested I put "white nail polish" to cover it. Because these men were in my home and I was alone, I didn't make a fuss because the chips and scrapes were kind-of small and I felt they would be okay to cover. Once I moved the entire table from the floor, I noticed SEVERE damage along the side that had been face-down. I immediately reached out to them and they promised they would resolve the matter. Several calls, e-mails and even one visit later, NO RESOLUTION has been reached. I send detailed documentation, text messages, pictures, etc. to the owner, [redacted], requesting a response within a week of the notice. The owner said he would speak to his staff that moved me and follow-up; that was 3-weeks ago. HE STILL HASN'T FOLLOWED-UP. I have been ignored. My concerns as a customer have been ignored and I am done reaching out to them and rate them as HORRIBLE for A) their damage to my furniture items; B) their lack of follow-up and customer service; and C) lying and saying they would resolve the matter - which remains UNRESOLVED. Bottom Line: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience.Desired Settlement: They did complete the service they were hired for, but in the process, they damaged my furniture, severely. To me that is unacceptable. The money wouldn't even be a start to begin the repairs, but I feel a refund would be a start on them making the situation whole, by acknowledging and taking responsibility for the result of their service.
