Flavorus, Inc. Reviews (3)

I purchased tickets on-line for a festival through Flavorus back in February. I do not recall the details, but apparently they sent the tickets immediately upon receiving payment. I am unable to attend the festival due to being mandated to work. So, I contacted Flavorus two weeks prior to the event. They denied my request for refund, but told me since I have the tickets I am welcome to sell them. I told them I do not have the tickets. They said they sent in February. Since they mailed standard USPS mail, I did not have a tracking number. The tickets were supposedly being mailed from Los Angeles to Santa Ana, to my PO Box, not a street address. So, I requested they resend the tickets. They sent the tickets. 10 days later, I still have not received the tickets. I am omitting the number of emails and phone calls I made during this time, because the outcome has been the same. They cannot do anything about the tickets. It is a little difficult to sell something I do not have in my possession. They said I could provide a copy of my drivers license and the credit card used to purchase tickets to the buyer. Uh...NO! Even if I blacked out most of the number, I do not feel comfortable giving this info to a stranger. The event is sold out! They could have sold these tickets many times, so they wouldn't have lost money. Now, I am in jeopardy of losing money, because again no one wants to buy tickets I do not have in my possession. The other option was for the potential buyer to create a Flavorus account, then I can do a transfer. Again, sounds simple, but what a pain. I have already had three potential buyers back out just because they are skeptical and/or too long of a process just to attend a festival. I asked if I could drive to their location to pick up the tickets....their reply, "NO". I asked what time does Will Call open so I could try to get tickets before work and sell to someone..."I don't know!" I am just really frustrated and disappointed at how difficult this has become. I understand they have policies they need to adhere to, but they should be a little more flexible. I would have appreciated if they offered to 'overnight' the tix or offered to convert to email/download. I may have even paid a little extra if I knew I would be guaranteed to receive the tickets.

Was looking to exchange tickets in November. It took almost a month for a response. I work for the USAF and was assigned to work nights the week before the concert. I contacted Flavorus immediately upon discovering this. After multiple emails initiated by me asking on the status of my case and being given the same lame answer four times that "my case is still under review." It then took them almost a month to reach the decision to not refund or exchange my tickets. I was told that it went against their refund policy. I replied to them after this decision not dissatisfied with the decision but dissatisfied with the length of time it took them to reach there decision. I complained that if they had resolved my case in a more urgent manner I would have given the tickets to someone who could use them. They replied saying that I could have given the tickets away because they were still accessible. That is completely illogical because my case was under review at the time the concert had passed. How would I get the refund or exchange I asked for if the tickets had been used.

Purchasing a ticket to a local event results in creation of a user account alongside storage of customer payment information. The default practice by most businesses is to provide users with an option box of stating whether they prefer to create an account and/or to store payment information for future transactions through Flavorus. But, Flavorus ignores the industry norm and builds up customer database along with a record of sensitive payment information.
