This client was treated on Aug 2, According to the contract they entered into on that date, see attached pages "Fleabusters Add On Sheet" you will note it clearly states process can take up to weeks before becoming fully effective and no reapplications will be done during that time Additionally on the Fleabusters Guarantee for the inside service attached it clearly states we reserve the right to inspect and/or reapply at no charge if for any reason the fleas are not gone after the weeks have elapsed The process isn't a poison so the individual results of each home will vary Some clients may notice a reduction during the weeks, although as a general rule the fleas will remain mostly the same until the final hatching stage which happens during weeks to depending on weather and other conditionsClient called prior to weeks and wanted a reapplication It is counter productive to come back within the initial weeks, so client was advised to wait the weeks and if fleas persisted we would come back at no charge as per the terms of our contract Once the initial weeks have passed if a client complains of continued flea activity it is our policy to schedule them for a no charge reapplication without delay We were extremely busy in September and it is possible we couldn't get them a set appointment for weeks, but it servers no benefit for us to have a client wait an additional weeks beyond the initial weeks We do keep a cancellation list and at that time we were able to get anyone who desired to be placed on the list serviced with in a to day period I can only assume we were not clear regarding the cause of the delay and for that I do apologize I have located an email where the client indicated they desired a refund but they had not had a follow up service as indicated in the guarantee I can find no indication where they requested a reapplication except during the initial weeks This doesn't necessarily mean they didn't call beyond the week period, it only indicates they never booked a follow up appointmentThis client is still under guarantee and we will be happy to honor that guarantee, coming back to reapply at no charge to the client If fleas persist beyond the weeks following the second treatment, we will verify the presence of fleas in the home and if present a refund would then be offered I chose to use standard copies to avoid posting any of the clients personal information on this page, however if the client wishes a copy of their original work orders and guarantee to verify the wording that can be sent to them at no charge.I sincerely hope if the fleas remain the client will give us the opportunity to correct this situation It is our strongest desire to make every client has happy as possible Unfortunately to completely eradicate fleas with our process it does take time We are extremely effective and one of the safest, easiest, longest lasting treatments on the market Our process provides for a physical kill of the fleas making it so the fleas can't become immune to the effects of the treatment The client may contact our office at their earliest convenience to schedule an appointment for a no charge follow up service Additionally although the outside service is not guaranteed for a year, I will be happy to provide a free outside service along with the inside reapplication for the inconvenience and misunderstandings.Regards,FleabustersI can be contacted directly by the client at [email protected] if they have any further questions

I am rejecting this response because:The flea treatment does not workIt doesn't make sense to have a reapplication when you know that it's not workingI can't have everyone in my family continue to be eaten alive by fleas while I wait another weeks to see if the treatment worksI had to take my dog to the vet twice during the treatment because she was so miserableShe had no hair left on the feet and was contstantly scratchingThe vet said only chemicals work on fleas nowThis is why I had to switch her flea medication because fleas have become immune to almost every product out thereI had flea bites everywhere including the inside of my belly buttonMy father had flea bites all over his legsThere is just no way under these circumstances that you can wait weeks when you know it's not workingI had to hire another exterminator because I knew the treatment was not workingAfter one application the fleas were goneFleabusters did not answer emails or phone calls because they did not want to issue a refundI am still requesting a full refund because the product did not workTheir adverstising is disengenous because no one is going to wait endlessly when fleas are constantly biting them to see if a product works

Review: Fleabusters came to my home on 8/2/2014 to do a flea treatment for inside and outside of the home. The treatment was supposed to be effective in 6 weeks and last for one year. The treatment was not effective at all during the 6 weeks and after 6 weeks. I called Fleabusters 3 weeks into the treatment and told them there was no difference and we were still being eaten alive by fleas. They told me the fleas were dying and they would all be dead after 6 weeks. I waited 6 weeks and my dog and family continued to be eaten by fleas. In fact I took my dog to vet during the treatment because all the hair was gone from her paws and she was miserable. They told me that fleas are now immune to all previous flea medications Flea busters natural products no longer work. I called Fleabusters after the 6 weeks and they told me to wait two more weeks. I told them I could not and to refund my money because the treatment did not work. They said they would send the refund and never did. I called them at least 4 times and left several messages including e-mails which they did not respond to. Their advertising says they have a one year back money guarantee. They are not honoring there promise and guarantee. My entire family especially my dog suffered for 6 weeks and longer before we had to get another companty to treat the fleas effectively.Desired Settlement: I request a total refund of $405.

I am rejecting this response because:The flea treatment does not work. It doesn't make sense to have a reapplication when you know that it's not working. I had to take my dog to the vet twice during the treatment because she was so miserable. She had no hair left on the feet and was contstantly scratching. The vet said only chemicals work on fleas now. This is why I had to switch her flea medication because fleas have become immune to almost every product out there. I had flea bites everywhere including the inside of my belly button. My father had flea bites all over his legs. There is just no way under these circumstances that you can wait 12 weeks when you know it's not working. I had to hire another exterminator because I knew the treatment was not working. After one application the fleas were gone. Fleabusters did not answer emails or phone calls because they did not want to issue a refund. I am still requesting a full refund because the product did not work. Their adverstising is disengenous because no one is going to wait endlessly when fleas are constantly biting them to see if a product works.
