I had Paul come out to see why my front load washing machine was leaking. He came out nice and early and was nice to my parents who let him in to service my machine. He quickly diagnosed that the cause of my leak was a hole in the rubber boot seal. He told me over the phone that the price to replace the rubber boot would be aproximate 400 dollars and because it has the dryer on top of it, he would have to come back another day with another person and charge another hundred dollars bringing the total to over $500. I asked him about the price and he said he just punches the problem into his computer and it tells him the price. He said it was minimal work and when I looked it up myself, I can confirm that it is not a lot of work. He said the part I has gotten more expensive, but when I looked that up too, I found the part for about 60 bucks. How can you charge a person well over $400 in labor on a job that will take less than an hour? I think that is clearly robbery without a gun

Review: Hired the company to come in and fix my 4 year old Refrigerator.. Came back 6 times lost over 500 dollares in food. Company refuses to refund my 415.00 dollares that I paid them.. Very nasty peopleDesired Settlement: Owner refused to work with me to come to a settlement..

Review: The company sent a technician who DID NOT diagnose the correct problem with our washing machine and charged us $86.85 for nothing. I found the problem with the machine and they will not give me my money back . The technician lied and said he found a sock in the washer which I did when I took it apart. He left his tools and water half way filled in the machine and claimed I needed to purchase a $336 part to fix the machine and all it was was a sock stuck in the pump!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want to have a refund for a misdiagnosis. I would have spent $ on either a new machine or had a part that wasn't needed. I work very hard for my $ and the company [redacted] was very rude when I asked for a refund!!

Review: We retained this company to fix our Electrolux dishwasher. They were recommended by Appliance World in Huntington where we purchased the product. A technician came about 2.5 weeks ago and told us that we need a new drainage pump. He gave us an estimate to which we agreed and we paid a retainer. It took two weeks to obtain the part, the company did not call us once, we followed up regularly to be told that the part has not arrived. Thursday last week the company confirmed that the part came in and they showed up on Friday, without the part. The returned on Saturday with two technicians who appeared completely inexperienced. Once appeared to be a young apprentice and the second one was reading the manual for 25 minutes, then installed the part. After 2.5 hours, he realized that this is the wrong part. In the meantime, the apprentice cut his finger badly on the product and I assited him wtih the clean up and bandaging. Once they had left, I notice a puddle of water on the floor, and saw that the machine was running (no drainage pump!), thankfully, the technician was still in the driveway and I asked him to shut off the machine. He then claimed that I put the machine on after they had initially left, which is outrageous. After nearly three weeks of trying to get this fixed, and no clear response of when the correct part would come in and when they would finish the repair, I feel that a complaint is in order. I have filed a complaint with Electrolux as well. This company should not be reocmmended as licensed Electrolux technicians.

Review: This company was supposed to call me late Friday afternoon make schedule the appointment. I never heard from them after calling them in the morning to tell the company the phone number I left was a work number and I would not be available after 4:30. Well I get home and there is a message on my machine from Fleet to set up a time for my appointment. Since I returned home at 8pm that was not going to happen. I then called them the next day as to find out when my appointment was going to be and there was no on in the office because it was a Saturday. The technician shows up and sits in his truck with his helper smoking. They diagnosised the problem and have the part changed with in 1/2hr. I was shown the estimate that I thought was very expensive for one solenoid valve. He could not tell me the cost of the part. I called the office on Monday following the appointment to complain that the technician showed up basically unannounced and said he could not provide me with the cost of the part. There was supposed to be an $88.00 service fee but gets absorbed if you have the work done which I did. I was able to get the cost of the part which was $33.00/part and my bill was $233.26. So this company is charging me $200.00 labor for a 1/2hr work. That seems outrageous to me. When asked it they would do anything on the price I was told no. I would never use them again nor I would I recommend this company to anyone I know. Very poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I have no problem paying the cost of the part plus the $88.00 service fee which would come to $131.44 with taxes. I would like to get the rest of the money refunded

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Fleet Appliance Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I did receive a form letter from them asking if I was satisfied with their service and in the envelope were coupons. I throw the whole thing in the garbage. I would never let this company back in my house nor would I recommend them to anyone I know.
