D & Dee Enterprises LLC likes to book projects, but never makes the deadlines We accepted the proposal to reroof our plex in Tomah WI, a square roof with peaks for ridge venting, attics fans that were new needed to be reinstalled The safety of this company is very questionable A whole pallet of the plywood fell off the roof taking out a small tree and cracked a slab of our sidewalk He never came back to take care of the repairs that he said he would in the spring We accepted the proposal for $16,on 10/6/to be completed by 10/26/ It didn't get done until a couple days before Thanksgiving He keeps over booking and then when he feels like getting certain projects done, he does it on his own time and he has half of your money over $8, We were foolish to finish paying him the other $8,with him promising to repair sidewalk in the springWe kept calling him and calling him, now won't even answer the phone We advised him that we will get the repairs done and bill him and take him to court if we have to None of his workers wore any safety equipment on our story building The sliding of the plywood could have killed one of our tenants if they were walking on the sidewalk at the time My husband saw the pallet fall while he drive into the driveway and was horrified The attic fans, they did not cut a big enough hole for them and there is blockage to the fans than needs to be cut out so that the volume of extraction can be accomplished properly [redacted] He said he's been in business for years and by this Revdex.com report it says one year What were the names of his previous companies? Would not recommend his company Change of people on our project kept changing each day, crews would not show up in the morning, slept in, they thought that was funny Or we got excuses that he didn't have a crew for the next day Once they start your project you don't know when they will show up

Early in May I booked a roofing job with D and Dee Enterprises that included a complete tear down, chimney removal and new shingled roof It was explained to me that the schedule was dependent on weather conditions and the completion of jobs to which the company was already committed Due to excessive rain they were behind and my roof was delayed until mid-July At that time they started and were able to have the work completed within a weekThe crew was here every day beginning between and am and they worked until and pm Every evening they cleaned up the mess from the day Although it was not in the contract, they went the extra mile and cleaned my rain gutters – which I must say were disgusting The last day of the project Mr Z [redacted] stayed until pm to finish the work and clean up Before they started, he had advised me that the hostas and lilies that I had planted against the house could be damaged, and they were - somewhat - but not destroyedI feel that a home owner must realize that when tar paper, shingles and other building materials are being ripped from a roof, damage can occur to the plant life below So this did not shock or upset meThe price in the original contract was the price I was charged There were no hidden or extra charges I must add that before the project was started, but after the original contract was signed, I thought of some additional stipulations I wanted added to the contract MrZ [redacted] , without hesitation, agreed to my conditions and honored themI believe the homeowner should try to understand that there are factors beyond the control of the contractor and show some patience when working with them I also found that open communication helps each party understand where the other stands and MrZ [redacted] was very upfront with me about everything In the future I plan on having windows replaced in my home and I will get an estimate from D & Dee EnterprisesI purposely waited about a month to write this review so that I could determine if the work would pass inspection and hold up to rain, etc and it has

We hired D & Dee Enterprises, LLC to dismantle and renovate a small bathroom last spring and it has been one thing after anotherThey missed the first deadline for completion, gave my wife a new completion date and didn’t meet that one eitherThe shower surround that they installed is now loose at the bottom and the gaps that were left during installation had to be chalked by my wife to keep water from running out the sidesThe “first” sliding glass door that was installed for our shower was damaged during installation or installed incorrectly so that when I used it THE FIRST NIGHT it made a grinding noise and then the glass shattered; the owner was contacted the next day, he said it wasn’t their fault and we had to pay one of his guys to come install a new oneThe sink that they installed leaked and when my wife called the owner he walked her through fixing it herself instead of coming out and taking care of it? They also didn’t countersink most of the finishing nails used to install the trim so I had to use an awl and a small hammer on them so they wouldn’t snag the towels or any cloths that bushed against themWhen pulling the tape used to mask off the shower surround they pulled the texture off the wall then just painted over it! Now let’s talk about the two actual electrical code violations; he (the owner) actually installed a junction box inside of the wall behind our sink with no means to access it without taking the recessed medicine cabinet out of the wall! He also installed an outlet that was not GFI protected within inches of our faucetThe reason that it has taken me so long to post this is because my wife and the owner have been in contact and he repeatedly told her that he would come out and take a look at some of these thingsHe has since broken off contact with her

Hired D & Dee Enterprises to put in new front door in March/April Upon replacing door they removed bad siding and removed siding from the back of my house and put some other siding several shades darker on the back of my houseSaid he had to order the right color and would replace itIt's been about months and it's not doneAfter numerous calls, text and emails he responded back to me saying that it would get doneI emailed him back to ask when and now I'm not getting response againThe siding is an eye sore! It's ridiculous no matter how busy a company is to let this go on this longThis job has been paid for in full and I want it finished! Not excuses and hoping I'd forgetI've been very nice about thisBut months, really?!

D & Dee Enterprises was hired to put on a new roof on our home, one year agoThis was doneOne year later we have two leaks in our homeWhen it rains we have to put buckets down in our foyerWe have called for three months trying to get this company to come and repair the leakWe have spoken to this man no less than 10-timesEach time he tells us he will be here within a few daysHe has not shown up, nor will he return callsWe have a crumbling ceiling in the foyer with black mold growing where the water is coming in

On June 3, we agreed on the job and signed a contract to build a front deck, which included a $1,deposit for material purchases The job was to be completed by early August, however, Dean has disappeared I checked with the local supplier of the materials, but they had no order from him for my job, though he told me on several occasions that he had the materials on order It appears as though he lied about the material order, and no longer answer my calls or texts Since it is now mid October, and he refuses to talk to me, my only conclusion is that he has no intention of doing the job He simply took my money and disappeared

We hired D and Dee Enterprises to complete an addition on our homeWe received the estimate back in March and hired *** as the general contractor June 5, His crew dug the hole for the addition and then we received a halt order from the county stating we did not have the proper zoning documentationIt is our understanding that is what the contractor would doThe project was set to begin August 15, but was placed on hold until we could get a variance from the countyWe received this variance the beginning of October The workers finally came the beginning-mid November to work on the projectHis crew would only stay for a few hours at a time and many times completed sub-par workFor instance, the dry wall was completed and had to be taken off and completely reinstalled because the initial drywall had gaps, was uneven and not cut straight*** did fix the issue but it took a few weeks to do thisThey did not install the sofet vents, just laying them above th
