Review: Warranty work. previous claim with this camper Revdex.com Case #[redacted]- [redacted], 4-29-08 I still have paperwork if you would like me to fax them to you. Again the unit has roof leakage causing damage to interior walls and possible floor/structure damage.Previous case due to roof leakage rotting the floor: with Revdex.com assistance, the camper was repaired. We had asked for a refund but we accepted your decision and had it repaired. This is on the receipt we received following the repairs: Replacement of floor and floor covering; replace bed seal,lower exterior trim, filon on rear wall, recaulked roof and exterior. We had voiced our concern upon the Revdex.com decision that the camper might leak after repair, and what if the company went out of business....Mr. [redacted] from Fleetwood stated in his letter"the roof membrane is warranted to be free from defects in material for 12 years." we have tried to contact the company and have been advised it was sold and then resold again. We contacted Camping World for assistance because we found out they do offer warranty work. Upon speaking with a service manager, he advised us "it is unlikely we will be able to find anyone to follow through with the warranty due to the fact the company has been sold multiple times"That is why I am writing to you once again for assistance. The unit was purchased 4-18-03 from [redacted] $17,992.84 total paid: their phone is no longer in service and we were not able to contact anyone from [redacted]... We assume they too went out of business (?)Our warranty is active until April 18,2015. We have been working on this for a few months with no success......Please help. Thank youDesired Settlement: Repair, replacement, or new travel trailer d/t recurring problem as was first stated in Revdex.com [redacted] dated 2007. We were advised by [redacted] that the problem was due to a defect in design that we have paid greatly for. We have not had the opportunity to use this item as it was purchased for ... it was held up the first time it was sent in for repair...dropped off in 10/18/07 and never repaired until May 2008 because the company forgot to pick it up, until we filed the claim with Revdex.com in 2008.
