Fleetwood Moving Reviews (1)

The customer purchased the 2010 Cobalt on April 14, 2017. She stated that she had no problems making the payments on time till August when Hurricane Harvey hit. She started paying late in July and actually had one payment in July that was 21 days past due. As you can see this was before August...

27 when the hurricane hit. The next complaint she had was that she broke down on side of road and [redacted] wouldn't send a wrecker over right away and that she was so rude. Well..........[redacted] did not talk to her that day. Also, after she had the vehicle towed or brought in because it was supposedly on fire. Turns out it was out of gas and it didn't stay at our lot more than one day. What I'm gathering from reading her letter is that if she doesn't get her way then you are Rude and Unprofessional. She is trying to make herself out to be a VICTIM. She knows when her payments are due and the collector is just doing her job. We cannot send the wrecker out every time a customer breaks down. We do not sell brand new vehicles with bumper to bumper warranties and road side assistance. On top of that, the customer never has any money to pay for repairs. The repairs in December of $306.96 I personally handled. She swore to me she would pay the balance off within 2 weeks. She brought in $90 2 days later then $142 11 days later. She still has a balance of $74.96 to this day. Can you tell me how many places do repairs 9 months after they buy the car and let them leave without paying a dime?  Probably not too many. I am not at the car lot all the time and don't hear every conversation. However, the customer is making out collector out to be this heartless cruel beast. I do not agree with the customer and feel like she's totally exaggerating the threats of Repo and how unprofessional she is. I'm gonna give you a current example of her "Victim" mentality. The car is currently not working because somehow (not her fault) the key got broke off inside the ignition. She had some people put a new ignition in and they broke up the whole steering column. She called me asking for someone cheaper than the $500 Chevrolet dealer wanted to reprogram the ignition. We had [redacted] [redacted] go out there to the car. The technician said that whoever installed the new ignition destroyed the steering column and there is nothing he could do. She called out office and ended up talking to me. She told me "what are you gonna do for me"? Once again, the Victim mentality. I personally wreckered this vehicle in on 1/16/18 in the freezing cold weather and 35mph winds to our office. Then I get this letter today that she is dogging us out to the Revdex.com. I must say I am very disappointed and want to lay out a few more facts. When she bought the car it had 104,743 miles. It currently has 133,309. That is 28,566 miles in 9 months. The yearly average is 15,000 miles. She has driven almost double that in 9 months. But according to the customer we sold her a LEMON. Seriously.........This vehicle is having the wheels driven off of it. Oh but remember...... she is a single mom trying to make it. She states that the car had many miles when she bought it. Actually, it was considered low mileage for the year of the car. The car was apparently a really good one to go 28,566 miles in 9 months. From her letter to the Revdex.com and dealing with her I'm not sure that she can be pleased. I would recommend her buying a brand new car with the amount of miles she is putting on it. We sell used cars not brand new ones. Thank You.      [redacted]
