Thank you for your email, we also received your voicemail. This gentleman was referred to us and we went out and gave him an estimateHe called and scheduled the job with my office and then we came out and did the jobHe was not home, so we completed the job and invoiced himA few days later
he called and asked my office staff why he received an invoice because he doesn't know if it was us who did the jobI spoke to him directly and he refused to pay saying he didn't see anyone and therefore he is not sure we did the jobWe "discussed/argued" and I told him we would be taking legal action against himHe then proceeded to hang up on me. A few days later he called again and stated that he does believe we did do the job and he paid for the job at that timeHe never said anything about being unhappy with the job that we didNow, a few months later he calls and asked us to come out and stump grind the stump moreWe explained to him that we stump grind down 6" into the ground and if he wanted more stump grinding it would be an additional charge at $He became very angry and hung up on me again.Not sure what or why he would bring up how I pay my employees as he knows nothing about me or my company.I have never met him, We have been in business for over years and we are a licensed contractor, which requires liability and workers' compensation insurance.BTW: We did speak to a neighbor and were informed that he pulled this same type of thing with himThe neighbor did all of the plumbing in his home and he refused to pay him as wellNot sure how that got settled.Thank you,*** ***
