Thank you for your email, we also received your voicemail. This gentleman was referred to us and we went out and gave him an estimate. He called and scheduled the job with my office and then we came out and did the job. He was not home, so we completed the job and invoiced him. A few days later...

he called and asked my office staff why he received an invoice because he doesn't know if it was us who did the job. I spoke to him directly and he refused to pay saying he didn't see anyone and therefore he is not sure we did the job. We "discussed/argued" and I told him we would be taking legal action against him. He then proceeded to hang up on me. A few days later he called again and stated that he does believe we did do the job and he paid for the job at that time. He never said anything about being unhappy with the job that we did. Now, a few months later he calls and asked us to come out and stump grind the stump more. We explained to him that we stump grind down 6" into the ground and if he wanted more stump grinding it would be an additional charge at $100. He became very angry and hung up on me again.Not sure what or why he would bring up how I pay my employees as he knows nothing about me or my company.I have never met him, We have been in business for over 25 years and we are a licensed contractor, which requires liability and workers' compensation insurance.BTW: We did speak to a neighbor and were informed that he pulled this same type of thing with him. The neighbor did all of the plumbing in his home and he refused to pay him as well. Not sure how that got settled.Thank you,[redacted]

They advertised for free wood chips. After three weeks of communication, I gave up. Once, they did tell me they would deliver it and we set it up, time and day. They didn't come. When I called the next day, the rude lady on the phone said they never had it on the schedule, and there wasn't any wood chips to deliver. I tried again the next week and the lady that answered the phone was completely rude.

Review: Got an estimate to remove tree and grind out stump in my front yard. Never gave them permision to take tree out. Never signed a contract. I agreed to nothing. Just asked what there schedule was to remove tree. Never heard anything back for three days.so I got a few more bids to remove tree.I got home one night the next week and saw my tree was cut down,I had no idea who did it because I had gotten six bids to do the work and was stumped!.so my budd y across the street took pictures and we could just make out what the name was on the truck door .so I called them the next day and raised a stink about them cutting the tree without a contract signed by me . The y threatened me if I did not pay up. So I gave them a credit card and paid the bill so damage would not occure to my property. March comes along and it's time to plant a new tree .I remove the truckload of tree chips from tree area to find they had not ground out all of the tree trunk. I called them and they said it would cost an additional 100.00 dollars I have a problem with this whole ordeal now that they want additional money to finish the job I allready paid for and was done without a signed contract. Need some help.Desired Settlement: If they would have come ground out the rest of the tree stump this ordeal would have been done and over,but since they don't want to fix their mess ,now I am not going to give them the time of day. I don't want them on my property anymore.maybe a total refund will wake them up .on line rating is a d- and so many complaints againts them ,I don't know how they are still in business. He pays all his workers cash so he doesn't have to pay workers comp or liability ins also.

Review: I called Fletchers to come to my home to get a estimate for a stump removal. when the gentleman from Fletchers came to my house he told may the amount and that they would be calling me the following week so that they could schedule to come out to do the work. The following week I never received a phone call but they showed up on my front door step, talked with my grandson who is under 18 to tell him that they were there to remove the stump. My grandson who obviously didn't know anything about it ( neither did I) said he was going to call me. By the time he got a hold of me the crew had already removed the stump and was no longer at my house. No one from the company ever called to schedule a time or date to do the work. Now they are threatening me to pay for the unauthorized work that they did by wanting to put a lien on my house.Desired Settlement: I do not feel that I have to pay that $75 they're trying to charge me for unauthorized work.

Review: Business Lisence CSL #[redacted] On 11/4/2015 [redacted] and [redacted] came to my home to give me an estimate for Mow, Edge and Leaf Blow. Mailed me an estimate 1st Est. says 1///14....

First estimate was for 4 x's monthly @ $80.00, second estimate was for 2 x's at $60.00 a month both dated 11/4/2014 start date was suppose to be Tuesday 1/8/2014.... 1/8/2015 NO ONE SHOWED AT THREE O'CLOCK APT. TIME. I called [redacted] and we talked and I told her I had changed my mind and wanted [redacted] to come back out and talk to me about drought free lawns, replanting and other services instead. I decided that since my lawns were dead and no grass or leaves, I didn't want to pay that much until I got a new lawn established. I made several calls, with promises that "he" [redacted]" is in the Orangevale area and will come by. I called [redacted] again and said I want to cancel everything; that was done at least three times between the 9th and the 15th. of Jan 2015.

On 1/17/2015 Two guys showed up an my roommate went out to tell them that we had cancelled and we were still trying to talk to [redacted], They left with saying they would call him, he is in the area and he will come by. Never saw him .. [redacted] said he came by and took pictures, I was home all day he never came to the door or into the yard. My dog would have went crazy if he did.

I called [redacted] again and said we had already agreed to cancel two weeks ago, and what is the problem that he cannot come by, she said she would mail me the pictures he took the next day with ideas. The next day I get an e-mail for an invoice saying I owed $80.00. [redacted] stated her crew submitted two service dates 1/8 and 1/17. That stated they mowed, edged and leaf blower. I have a complete dead lawn both front and back, nothing to mow etc.Desired Settlement: I called, left messages, emailed her twice and said " I do not owe you, we canceled. Remember?" I finally got back an email saying she'd remove me permanently from their list. I don't know if she will try and bill me again or not. I have kept all of the e-mails showing the conversations. I have never seen such poor service as this company.

I understand there are multiple complaints with your departments re. this company. Please add my name to your complaint file. How does he keep the licence if has a reputation with multiple complaints and employees who lie about what they do?

I am going to call the PennySaver to file a compaint with them also.

Review: We set up an appointment to walk the Job with [redacted] at 1:00 P.M. Friday Oct 24th 2014. I was at my folks home & at 12:57 got a txt from [redacted] saying he would Be late. I txt Back How Long. He txt Back hopfully by 3 or we can do it tomorrow. I txt him back what my father wants Done. [redacted] called me back & started screming at me getting violent & Telling me its my dads fault. He did what my Father Told him to do. Then he Hung up on me. We do not want him around my Dad. My father is 87 years old. He don't want to fight. He just now wishes he never met [redacted]. Due to [redacted] not willing to work This out scream & yell we no Longer want his or his company around.Desired Settlement: My father wants a full refund of his $1,600.00 & the $160.00 they charged him to repair the sprinklers "they" Broke while mowing the yard Because the Heads are way above Ground, Total my Dad wants back is $1760.00. This Job is still not completed.

Review: While proving service, business caused damage to property, did not complete service, and would not return phone calls.

On April 6, 2013, I hired [redacted]'s Landscape & Maintenance (hereafter referred to as FLM) to cut down tree in backyard and grind the stump. The service cost $700. At the time service was rendered, FLM was paid in full.

A walkthrough after service revealed FLM did not remove and grind stump, damaged property: torn window screen, broke wood panel in backyard gate, damaged lawn. FLM stated they would repair all damages and return later that day to grind stump, but did not return.

I called several times before the owner finally returned my call and arranged for the stump to be removed and grinded. At that time, I told the owner again about the damages, and that I wanted the wood from the tree for firewood, and asked that it be returned. He agreed to have FLM staff return and remove stump. On April 19, 2013, FLM staff removed and ground stump, but did not remove the debris. I made several calls again to advise the owner that the job was not complete and to inquire when the damage would be repaired, but he would not return my calls. Finally, on April 22, 2013, my son called and left a message for the owner, who called me at my work on April 23. He (the owner) agreed to meet me at my home on Friday, April 26, to repair the damages and return the wood. He did not show up, did not call, and never returned my phone calls to him.Desired Settlement: I am requesting FLM reimburse me for the following costs:

1. Repair or replace torn window screen--$25

2. Cost for having stump debris removed--$40

3. Cost for having lawn damage repaired--$10

4. Cost of wood not returned--$100

Total reimbursement of $175.

The business has finally responded to my attempt to resolve this issue, and has reimbursed me as requested. However, I would NOT recommend their services as they do not provide timely, complete services, and are not responsive to customers concern.

This complaint can be cancelled but I would like to remain on record that a complaint was filed.
