Flex Marketing Group, LLC Reviews (3)

I am writing to formally respond to Complaint ID ***Initially, I want to confirm that both email addresses associated with this complaint: *** and
*** had already been unsubscribed and removed from all company marketing lists as of the receipt of this complaintBut more importantly, I want to take a moment to make clear that the assertions of wrongdoing set forth by *** *** are completely without meritIn particular, we never ignore opt-out requestsInterestingly, the postal address to which *** *** refers to in the complaint (*** * ** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***) is not even owned or associated with our companyAccordingly, though we are very sympathetic to *** ***’s frustrations, it is clear from the address listed that we are not the appropriate target of this complaintAs a permission-based marketing company located in New York City, we employ a strict unsubscribe policyAnd we are steadfastly committed to ensuring that any removal (unsubscribe) requests are handled as expeditiously as possibleUltimately, we are extremely disappointed that *** *** believes (though unjustifiably) that he was not properly removed from our marketing listWe take great pride in our business and work extremely hard to ensure that we only send messages to those individuals who wish to receive themHowever, we recognize that at times, people allow their frustrations to get the best of themWhile we vigorously deny any wrongdoing, we want to once again confirm that pursuant to *** ***’s request, we can confirm that both of the email addresses associated with this complaint: (*** and ***) have already been removed from all of our marketing listsMoreover, we want to make clear that should *** *** wish to remove any other personal or professional email addresses from our marketing list, he need only contact us with the request and we will be sure to adhere to his requestI hope that this will resolve the situationPlease let us know if you have any further questions

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Messages from this spam mailer have stopped. But, unsolicited advertising emails from this sender have stopped in the past, only to start again.  Since I have never "opted in" to junk email, it's unclear how they got my email address in the first place. It's equally unclear why they have refused to honor requests to delete my address - that it took a complaint to Revdex.com to make this happen - a temporary fix at the least. On the bright side, I now know the identity and address of the sender. If their junk email starts again, I can pursue other remedies.

[Your Answer Here]
The company's response was interesting but not completely honest.  The "opt-out" mailing address at [redacted], [redacted] is simply a "mail drop" at the [redacted] store (confirmed by [redacted] employee).  This same mail address appears in all their spam email advertising - I probably have 100 or more spam messages which use this same opt-out street address. If they don't own it, then perhaps it's just a hoax address to discourage complaints? Whether they actually own this mail drop box just use it is irrelevant. The ISP ([redacted]) from which the latest offending messages were sent confirmed that this is the company sending them. It's unclear if this ISP will take any action for violating their anti-spam policies, but previous ISPs used by this company ([redacted], [redacted], et al)  have suspended earlier email accounts, so we can only hope. When this company registered their latest 2 domains ([redacted] and [redacted]) the contact information was bogus - one of this firm's hallmarks. Strangely enough, in years gone by, they have actually used the names and addresses of real persons . . . only those real persons had no knowledge of this. They were surprised to hear from me! All messages sent by this spammer in the past two years leave the "TO" field blank, so it has taken some effort to determine exactly which email address of mine they were using.  Sadly, in their reply, they did not bother to get this address correct (it's [redacted]) so I will probably be getting another blast of emails from them.  I have also complained directly to the companies whose products they are advertising as well as filing Revdex.com complaints against these companies.  Sadly [redacted] (an [redacted] reseller) and [redacted] (a male enhancement pill) are both truly flaky companies - both are in industries where advertising excesses are a way of life.  There will probably be a response, but not much else.
