Review: I have been renting from Flex box for years, in the beginning when they were desparate for my business I had no complaints. Then I started to sporadically recevied my monthly bills. At which time I contacted them and asked for a bill. There were so many different owners/managers, I should have seen the writing on the wall then. Needless to say, I stopped receiving monthly bills, and every single one of my requests, have either gone ignored, or [redacted], has put it in writing to me that he refuses to provide me a monthly bill. As well as has recently asked me to stop my correspondence with them. Due to his refusal of a monthly bill, I am not sure how my payments are being allocated, as he has stated that I have late charges. Which is not true.Desired Settlement: To begin to receive monthly statement, with a breakdown of charges and payments.

Review: The price for $69.95 listed on the website is apparently not their "summer" rate so I was quoted a price $20 higher per month then what I saw online. Fine. They were great about dropping off the box and taking my money, not great at picking up the phone. The voicemail box was full almost every time I called.

I went a few months with them holding onto the boxes and called to have it dropped off. They dropped off the boxes at the new address and they were there for a few days while we unpacked. The township wrote a ticket for the boxes being placed on the street in a no-parking zone. There was nothing listed outside the house for the ticket, which is neither here nor there.

What really irked me was that when I called to ask about how to handle the situation, if they expected the customer to pay the ticket (I expected so) the gentleman on the phone said I needed a permit for the area where the boxes were being dropped off.

I signed no paperwork and no terms and conditions were mentioned to me upon the initiation of this service. What permit??

The icing was that by the time I got home from work to finish unpacking Flexbox had come to the house and picked up the boxes because the township had filed a complaint. They had my number on file, they did not call. They did not leave a voicemail. For a good 30 minutes I thought the boxes were stolen or towed.

When my roommate and I called about having the boxes dropped off again they had the audacity to say that they had to charge us another $100 for the drop off fee AGAIN. In essence they took our stuff without our permission. He said they they were being nice enough to not charge us for another month because of how long it took us to unpack. We had to go and pick up the rest of the contents of the box ourselves because mid-conversation we were hung up on and very unprofessionally dismissed.

He did end up charging me for the $85 for the additional month so I am now disputing fraudulent charges with my bank regarding these "service providers" for services NOT rendered.Desired Settlement: I want them to be aware of the holes in their business before this happens to anyone else. I want them to have more terms and conditions, perhaps a signed agreement, perhaps a mention of this mystery permit. I would like my $85 back, I have no problem paying them for the months they held the box but I DO have a problem with the fact they are charging me $85 a month when the published rate was $69. I just want my money back for the services not rendered and I want something on record regarding their mistreatment and disregard of customers once payment has been received.
