I just recently got my company to remove me from this, as it does not work the way it is advertised. I have been trying to use this at my dentist and they keep treating me like a crook. All they have to do is contact my dentist to inquire about what I used this for but they are not capable of doing that. After all, it is my money. They send you emails threatening to suspend your account unless something is verified. They will not attempt to verify it (then what are they being paid to do?) and assume that you are trying to cheat the IRS. So whatever small tax benefit that one receives from using a flex spend account is not worth the constant aggravation you get when you use your card for legitimate reasons.

I encountered an issue benefit administrator Flexible Benefit Service Corporation. On December 31 I contacted Flex about my transit account, I spoke with a gentleman named Matthew who advised I could spend $50 for my dependent and would be successfully reimbursed from my remaining transit funds. Per his instructions I submitted expense with receipt, this was rejected and I contacted Flex again speaking with Britany who advised I needed to fill out another form and resubmit with receipt. This was again rejected, I contacted Flex once more and spoke with Crystal who advised I would not be reimbursed (recorded call ID). Due to the advice I received from a representative from this company I spent $50 that I was assured I would be reimbursed from my transit account.

During this time your employer was transitioning to a new administrator for your Transit benefit for 2019 which may have resulted in some of the information you received regarding your claim.. We will follow up with you directly regarding your 2018 transit balance and transit benefit guidelines. We will also review with you the information provided by our customer service team. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and will contact you on Monday, February 25th.

I have spent more time on the phone with this company trying to have claims approved. It is a constant DENIAL and yet I'm following their instructions. DO NOT USE!!!!
