Horrible customer serviceTook our deposit and then took months to get any action or even a returned phone callWhen flicks finally did send a plumber to our house he was unbelievably incompetent Got screwed out of $Plumber never find out problem but charged us for his timeI only write this review in hopes that no one else uses Flicks and loses time and moneyGo some where elseYou will be better off
On April 17, my husband and I ordered a Bertch bathroom vanity from Flicks On July 2, we ordered two matching Bertch medicine cabinetsThe Flicks salesperson told us that there was a good chance they could expedite the order for the medicine cabinets, and have them delivered with the vanity We put down a deposit of $1,on both orders
My husband called Flicks twice during the third week of September to check on our orders Both times, he was told that they would check into them, and call him back They didn'tWe began to suspect that something was amiss I checked the Bertch website, where they listed a typical delivery time of 12-days
On September 29, I contacted Flicks, and was told again they would check into our orders and call me back Again, they didn't I called on October and asked to talk with the ownerI was told he would call me back He didn't
I figured that a face-to-face discussion was called for Before I visited their store, I called Bertch's customer service number to find out if they could tell me whether Flicks had ever placed our orderWhile they couldn't provide that information, the customer service rep did tell me that their production and delivery were on schedule and not the source of the delay
I visited Flicks on October and asked to see the owner I was told he was out and would return that afternoon I left my number and told them I would be back that afternoon as well I received a call from him as I was driving back o the store
He told me that his employees told him that we had called in September to cancel the medicine cabinet order because it was taking too long (not true) He was not even aware of the April order for the vanityHe gave me the choice of re-ordering the vanity and medicine cabinets or receiving a refund I jumped at the latter offer and held my breath until I could check our bank account to verify that the money was there
On October 17, we re-ordered the vanity and medicine cabinets through K&K Hardware in Bettendorf, using the information from our Flicks invoice As we worked with the K&K salesperson, it became evident that Flicks could have never placed the order There were key pieces of information missing from the invoice and Flicks had never asked us for them The K&K salesperson told us we were his second customer in a month who couldn't receive a Bertch order from Flicks
On November 13, Bertch delivered our cabinets to K&K The prompt delivery confirmed the information on their website and what we had been promised by K&K
This incident made it clear to us that there are fraudulent practices taking place at FlicksWe consider ourselves fortunate that we got our deposit back but it was probably at the expense of another customer Since then we have been telling everyone we know to avoid this business like the plague
Never, ever again will I do business with this company
