The credit card amount charged was higher than shown on the invoiceAttempted to resolve the matter for a whole year without so much of an explanation why there was a discrepancy until another employee (Peter) stated the difference was due to LATE FEES that was never reflected on the invoicePeter stated the business has the right to charge late fees as stated in the contract however nothing was reflected on the invoice

This is response to reviewer 628270 bout Flood Tech 3 This is false account of actions that took place. I clearly explained to the homeowner that due to category 1 water loss (clean water)guidelines does not allow us to remove carpet .We extracted water with water claw system that extracts threw padding .The Insurance adjuster came there saw our job was satisfied with job so he cut homeowner check . The homeowner left for vacation without paying us for our work.The homeowners granddaughter was not a lot of help due to Flood Tech3 never being able to contact her.Homeowner states there was mold on carpet in complaint this is a False account. The only place there was mold was behind drywall where there was a slow leak we POINTED out to her . Homeowner claims we did not dry carpet that's kind of impossible due to us having verification of all Moisture readings when we left .Her tenant that was living in water damaged area stated IT DRIED UP PRETTY GOOD).The $500.00 that was collected was Insurance deductible which is a standard fee collected up front .That charge was paid back upon settlement. As far as cleaning carpet We clearly let granddaughter know we can clean it.She stated my grandmother will get her contractor to replace it .Flood Tech 3 spoke to Adjuster about carpet he stated there IS NO REASON to remove carpet due to category of water loss. We can prove to Homeowner she signed work contract and everything was explained to her from A to z if that was not case WHY WOULD SHE LET US PROCEED WITH WORK . The Homeowner got very irate when we start inquiring about payment when she came back from vacation. The Insurance adjuster stated to us he gave her check for services rendered at property homeowner claimed she never got nothing which adjuster proved was not true.We finally has to send this to court and settled and got paid .Never once did Insurance adjuster compalain to us about JOB he actually said we did a great job.Also Insurance company will not cut check when they see bad job in her case he cut check right away homeowner went on vacation .Flood Tech 3 goes out way to provide good service but we also expect to get paid for our work which is fair.

Review: Flood Tech 3 was hired to remove water from my carpet and floor which resulted from a water pipe that burst on January 8, 2014. On January 9, [redacted], the owner of the company and I discussed removal of the water from the carpet and floor, and of drying, removing, washing, and reinstalling the carpet. I provided him with my Homeowners Insurance information, my [redacted] account number, and I singed the two documents: Work Authorization and Limited Assignment of Insurance Benefits and Insurance Claim Report.I had to travel and left town on January 10 and did not return home until January 22. My granddaughter, [redacted], who lives with me, would be his contact while I was away. During the time I was away, my granddaughter dealt with [redacted] and the insurance adjuster and I was in frequent contact with her. Not only did Flood Tech 3 fail to dry the carpet, they did not return to remove it or wash/clean it as [redacted] and I had discussed. After the equipment was removed, I never heard from Flood Tech 3. When the insurance adjuster arrived on January 16, the basement smelled of mold and the carpet and was still wet. I had to have the carpet removed and replaced.Flood Tech 3 Corp charged $500 to my credit card and I disputed the charge on February 10 and the charge was reversed. Flood Tech was contacted by the credit card company and given until April 3 to respond to my dispute and did not do so. I received a letter from Brown & Recoup, stating that I owe Flood Tech 3 $1,320.51. I have never been invoiced by Flood Tech for their work.I feel that Flood Tech was overwhelmed during the time the work was to be done at my house and that the work we discussed was not performed.Desired Settlement: As Flood Tech did not perform the work we discussed, attempts to collect what they consider an outstanding debt in the amount of #$1,320.51 be stopped. An invoice for services performed has never been presented to me.
