Floor 360 Reviews (%countItem)

This flooring company is nothing but a disappointment. We arranged for this company to install hardwood flooring st our lake house property about a year ago, at first it looked great but over a short few months, the flooring began to buckle and the transition strips came up off of the flooring. We have been calling for months to arrange for the company to come out and fix the buckling floor and they have bluntly been ignoring us. I called last Monday 8/26 and left 2 voicemails for the service department on Ruth's voicemail and again today on 9/4 and have never received a call back. We paid THOUSANDS of dollars for the original flooring and for this company to ignore our service calls is down right disrespectful. I suppose the next step is to report them to the Revdex.com.

Dear Revdex.com,

Thank you for the service you provide to help us resolve our issues with Floor360 located at ***.

Unfortunately, we’ve have a very negative experience with Floor360 for a bathroom tile and utility room tile install. Not only were there issues with the quality of the work itself, but also with the timeliness of communications, the number of repair visits needed to complete the project satisfactorily (at best), the mess left my the installation crew, and a lack of reimbursement. There are three main issues that we are unable to resolve on our own:

1. A hand-made mortar shower base was made by Tile360 to prepare for a frameless sliding shower door in our slab-on-grade construction. Unfortunately the custom mortar shower base and floor were finished with improper grade and angles, and multiple shower door installers have seen the site and told us they are not able to install a shower door because of the floor grade. (See attached Photo A). Our preferred resolution would be a refund in the amount it will cost someone else to properly remove the existing tile and mortar base, remake the mortar base, and reinstall the floor tile. We prefer this option because we have zero confidence in the quality of work completed by Floor360.
2. The quality of the trim edges around the shower niche and window are below satisfactory. They just look terrible. They are made with a metal trim. The cuts in the metal are rough, and were never filed down. The installation looks crude, and you can see the burs of the metal. The ‘solution’ by Floor360 was to paint the grout lines with white nail polish. (See attached Photo B) This finished installation looks extremely unprofessional. After the last visit we let this work stand as ‘finished’, but the quality of the work (and now the fading nail polish) continue to irk us. We would like a refund for someone else to re-do that portion of the project.
3. Lastly, the installers left black handprints all over the freshly painted walls when they did the install. We were told by the service manager when he came to review the site that Floor360 would reimburse us for the cost of repainting – but that has not yet happened.

There were various other issues that were extremely disappointing about working with Floor360, and we have shared those on other review sites (***). However, we would specifically like the help of the Revdex.com to financially resolve the three issues above.

Thank you for your assistance.

We feel the root cause of the continual onslaught on social media is due to us not refunding monies and following our company policy of repairing or replacing any item that does not meet industry standards. In fact we have been told by the customer that "if we did not provide a refund she would use social media against us".
Our customer service field professional was dispatched the first time to the home to supervise the work needed to improve upon the work done on your niche. The work on the second visit (new items) with flooring and grout repair was conducted by one of our most experienced installers and supervised by our field technician. The homeowner indicated in an email she was satisfied with the work done on the flooring. The expert installer responsible for your bathroom has been with us for over 10 years and we have not experienced complaints about cleanliness. All of our crews know that cleanliness is a priority which is why we did a thorough cleaning after the repairs. The hand prints were on a dry wall and were on a wall that was to be painted over.
4. The homeowner is requesting refunds saying delays to her repairs caused a delay in your occupancy permit, the items that we repaired would not hold up a certificate of occupancy and any delays were due to the homeowners own delays for many reasons. We offered many times for a list of items needing attention and to come out immediately and make any repairs and were regularly not provided information or dates.

The one constant is the entire process from the first phone call was the request for a refund, which we explained from the start that was not company policy and would not be provided.
