Our experience started out great nice group to work with friendly and helpful until we called regarding the installation of tile and grouting of the tileWe purchased a high end flooring spoke with two different salespeople on what steps to take to assure sub flooring was properThe sales Person told us to use 1/inch concrete board which we thought we were gettingWell the contract which the sales person admitted He didn't know why it said 1/inch when the normally use 1/inchHe did tell us the installer told him the sub flooring was in good shape Which it was not that is why we had the floor built up to say the least the flooring is not level and the grout was not evenThey did send the installer out to regrout he was here less than minutes he mixed grout very sloppy soupy thew it down and wiped it up without letting it set at allWe stopped by the store to let them know we were not happy but basically they told us they could send the guy out again but nothing they could really doThe installer told us there really wasn't anything else he could do for us when he was here was a little rude could tell he was not happy having to come backVery upset the poor quality of work for such an expensive floor

Terrible experience We ordered carpet and vinyl wood flooring for our newly purchased townhome which was scheduled to be installed prior to our move in date The salesman promised that everything would be finished and ready before moving day That did not happen, instead the installers arrived in the middle of our move to complete the job they had started I will say that the carpet looks great but the vinyl NO! There are bumps and waves throughout the vinyl and it started peeling around the edges within a week The installer suggested we purchase molding to add to the baseboard to secure the edges That solved the peeling issue, however, the general appearance of the floor still looks awfulIt's embarrasing when guests make mention of the bumps and very upsetting to have paid for such a poor job I've had this type of vinyl before and also being in real estate, I have been in many homes with the same exact floor But never have I seen it look like this

I spoke with the customer and thought the issue was resolved to their satisfactionShe told me that she spoke with her husband and that our settlement was fairI do not know why she is contacting the Revdex.com***

Below is the information that you requested online. It does not have any information other than the style and color that was ordered for you. If the tile was a different color than it should not have been installed. I do not have any record of receiving a text picture of the carton. Question Answer

Floor Depot did great work on our home! Very courteous and easy to work with. The end result is beautiful and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely use them again in the future.

1/4 inch when the normally use 1/2 inch. He did tell us the installer told him the sub flooring was in good shape. Which it was not that is why we had the floor built up to say the least the flooring is not level and the grout was not even. They did send the installer out to regrout he was here less than 39 minutes he mixed grout very sloppy soupy thew it down and wiped it up without letting it set at all. We stopped by the store to let them know we were not happy but basically they told us they could send the guy out again but nothing they could really do. The installer told us there really wasn't anything else he could do for us when he was here was a little rude could tell he was not happy having to come back. I have used Floor Depot twice for tile work in my home: once for a bathroom remodel and once for tiling my living room. Both times they were courteous and professional. Their installers are employees of the company, not subcontractors, which is a major benefit in my opinion. Most recently the installer who did my living room tile told me he had 26 years experience. I was away most of the 2 days he was working in my home and he did a beautiful job. I asked him to make the decision about which grout to use and to create a border pattern .I am very pleased with the result.

We had a very positive experience with this company. After installation, we noticed a crackling sound here and there when we walked on the laminate, and Mike, the owner, determined that the underlayment was the culprit and he replaced it at his cost without complaint. His workers are pleasant, courteous, and skilled. The product is top-notch. We recommend Floor Depot without reservation.

I am rejecting this response because:I do have a phone record showing a picture sent to you from my cell phone to your cell phone. At the time I was on the phone with you and you offered for me to text the picture to you - you jokingly said "Don't tell my wife I am giving a stranger my phone number" -  Once I told you I have record of this picture being sent to you - this week on our phone call, you told me you would call me right back as if I caught you off guard. I am happy to provide a copy of my phone record showing this. Again, dealing with the owner of a company I would not expect that they could not read a label and order accordingly. I am a consumer seeking a product and you are the professional providing a material. If you knew the tile was provided in different shades, and the consumer did not specifically request a shade in the inquiry it is your duty and obligation to seek the answer to that question. Assumption only leads to trouble - in this case you were provided the label and either over looked the shade, or did not care to ensure that you provided the proper product, but rather to just make a sale. In my online inquiry I believe I also mentioned that I had a copy of the box label that the builder left me - so that there is another opportunity for you to have ensured you ordered me the proper material. I am seeking an adjustment to the price I paid as I requested to order to match the label of the box I provided and this was not done! I am also seeking an adjustment to the full box that was broken at pick up. I also have pictures of the broken box.

I did not receive any messages from the customer until yesterday afternoon. I understand that this has been going on a long time for the [redacted], however, unfortunately it was kept from me until this January. I am sorry for this. This claim has been declined by the manufacturer stating that it is a...

labor related problem. Upon personal inspection I disagree. The comments that their inspector points out to be the cause of the issues do not substantiate the type of failure that is taking place. I have been in touch with my factory rep, his boss and the claims department with [redacted] and am getting no where with them. I have decided to hire my own independent inspector to take a look at the problem. I have spoken with the customer today and will keep him advised as to when we will have our inspector come to look at the job.

The customer did request a price quote by E-mail. I called the customer back and left a message that I had a price for the material requested. I do not have any recollection nor do I have a photo from he customer requesting a specific dyelot. I furnished the style and color that the customer...

requested and did not have any information about the actual dyelot required. She told me that she would not recommend my company to her neighbors and I did in deed tell her that it was her prerogative, however, I did not hang up on the customer. At the time that the tile was installed someone has to take the responsibility to look at the tile and if it is not acceptable the installation should have been stopped.
