Floorguard performed a poor installation on our basement metallic epoxyInitial crew (non-English speaking) installing the wrong color, then process took a week vs days which I was told on contract acceptance Installers splashed black Epoxy in areas of basement on wainescoating, doors, marble bath tile, custom barWhen I complained to salesman Dave I got no answerFumes were so bad we had to get out of home for several daysNo plastic vapor wall was hung to isolate vaporsCrews left my windows openFinished product is poor quality & Floorguard refuses to respond to my request for reimbursement for incurred painting of lower half of basementFloorguard also refuses to return to correct issues

Floorguard has never been hired by Judy ***We have a contract with EIS Group/David Post The accusations listed by Judy Post are over-exaggerated and contain many statements The concrete floor in the basement was very soft and uneven concrete making it very difficult to avoid making grinding marks in the floor surfaceThis was all addressed the following day The subfloor can have many imperfections because it is only to create a base color; it is not the finished floor system The incorrect color of black was applied because the material had already been mixed, so we applied it in place of wasting it and letting it cure in the bucketWe returned the following day to grind down the uneven surface and re-applied the correct color gray There were some areas that did have some black on the trimTo try and wipe the material off while wet creates a messThis is high-solids coating not a latex that you can be wiped off with water The Floorguard contract states that the base trim is to be removedWe taped all the trim to protect the trim before applying the basecoat We never were given a chance to come a correct the coating on the trim issue because we could not get a response from David Post after multiple attempts after the job was completedThen when MrPost finally made contact with us, he stated it was too late and had HIS contract painter touch it upWe are permitted the first right to correct any issues, which was not given to us We have been working EIS since and have always had a great relationship The product does have a mild odor and since it was done in a basement of the home during the winter, the smell could have been compounded due to the lack of open air ventilation The floor was not done in poor quality and every issue was addressed immediatelyWe pride ourselves on the quality of our workWe recognize that we do make mistakes, but always correct the issues if we are given the opportunity Our contract states that when the job is completed the balance will be charged to the credit cardEIS is well aware of this due to our lengthy business relationshipFloorguard is sorry that this long relationship with EIS and Floorguard has ended with such a sour note EIS had a beautiful Metallic floor installed, and the only issue we have is that we were never given the chance to correct the problem at handEIS withheld over $2,for paint touch ups and an additional $1,from the due balance

1.    Floorguard...

has never been hired by Judy [redacted]. We have a contract with EIS Group/David Post.  2.    The accusations listed by Judy Post are over-exaggerated and contain many false statements.  3.    The concrete floor in the basement was very soft and uneven concrete making it very difficult to avoid making grinding marks in the floor surface. This was all addressed the following day. 4.    The subfloor can have many imperfections because it is only to create a base color; it is not the finished floor system. 5.     The incorrect color of black was applied because the material had already been mixed, so we applied it in place of wasting it and letting it cure in the bucket. We returned the following day to grind down the uneven surface and re-applied the correct color gray. 6.    There were some areas that did have some black on the trim. To try and wipe the material off while wet creates a mess. This is high-solids coating not a latex that you can be wiped off with water. 7.    The Floorguard contract states that the base trim is to be removed. We taped all the trim to protect the trim before applying the basecoat. 8.    We never were given a chance to come a correct the coating on the trim issue because we could not get a response from David Post after multiple attempts after the job was completed. Then when Mr. Post finally made contact with us, he stated it was too late and had HIS contract painter touch it up. We are permitted the first right to correct any issues, which was not given to us. 9.    We have been working EIS since 2007 and have always had a great relationship. 10.  The product does have a mild odor and since it was done in a basement of the home during the winter, the smell could have been compounded due to the lack of open air ventilation. 11.  The floor was not done in poor quality and every issue was addressed immediately. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work. We recognize that we do make mistakes, but always correct the issues if we are given the opportunity. 12.  Our contract states that when the job is completed the balance will be charged to the credit card. EIS is well aware of this due to our lengthy business relationship. Floorguard is sorry that this long relationship with EIS and Floorguard has ended with such a sour note. 13.  EIS had a beautiful Metallic floor installed, and the only issue we have is that we were never given the chance to correct the problem at hand. EIS withheld over $2,750 for paint touch ups and an additional $1,297 from the due balance.

Floorguard performed a poor installation on our basement metallic epoxy. Initial crew (non-English speaking) installing the wrong color, then process took a week vs 3 days which I was told on contract acceptance
Installers splashed black Epoxy in 20 areas of basement on wainescoating, doors, marble bath tile, custom bar. When I complained to salesman Dave I got no answer. Fumes were so bad we had to get out of home for several days. No plastic vapor wall was hung to isolate vapors. Crews left my windows open. Finished product is poor quality & Floorguard refuses to respond to my request for reimbursement for incurred painting of lower half of basement. Floorguard also refuses to return to correct issues.
