Floors by Marvin

Review: I contacted Marvin Cohen of Floors by Marvin in Ridgefield, CT. He promptly showed up at my house to give me an estimate on having the hardwood floors refinished. He quoted me a price of $1850 and agreed to start the work on the following Monday. At his request, I mailed him a deposit of $900. The check was cashed. Marvin did not show up on Monday morning as promised. I called him and he said they were running behind and he would be there soon. This is the same story he told me several times for two days. When I attempted to contact him again on Tuesday afternoon, he stopped taking my calls. I have requested the return of my $900.00 deposit to no avail. It has now been over a week, and several calls have gone un answered.

Marvin Cohen of Floors by Marvin took a $900 deposit for a job that was never completed. Marvin refuses to give deposit back.

Marvin Cohen refuses to give deposit back after he failed to show up to perform job. He has ignored repeated attempts at rectifying the situation. After being contacted by the Revdex.com he agreed to send my money back. He of course did not do that and has not returned any of my phone calls.
