Client called to express her dissatisfaction with the ratio of chocolate in the basket that was delivered for Valentines.We had believed we advertised it as a candy basket, which was incorrect on our partIt was indeed advertised as a "chocolate" basketTherefore in our first conversation with
client which was prompt we assured her we want her to walk away satisfiedShe stated she was not looking to get anything for free, and 'even half of my money back" would be sufficientTherefore, that is what we immediately agreed to do, above and beyond the provision of our 'substitution policy' found here ....http://floralexcellence.com/elgin-floral-excellence/chocolate-love.html which states "In some instances, the florists photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament willOccasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availabilityIf this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value."We also offered client a free bouquet either now or in the future, to make sure she walked away with excellent customer serviceShe stated she was pleased she would give us a positive review for the customer serviceShe agreed to half as a good compromise.The 1/($I believe ) was refunded by our website and wiring company *** on 2/- We believed this resolved the conflict in a generous manner. ON 2/all management was out of the store and did not return until after 2/Fill - in help took a call at Clients continued displeasure seeking a full refund - which was never agreed toDelivery Cost and tax were never discussed to be returned, as client received a bouquet she stated looked nice and was full, just not of the preferred chocolate candiesWe paid delivery and the product was of equal design and value (per the online substitution policy)Our store manager, was then ill and unable to further resolve at that time We received a third phone call at 8:26am on 2/from client that was before hours (10-5) and directed to a personal voicemail before hoursThis phone call and voicemail was not seen until the following day after the Revdex.com email arrivedFloral Excellence is known for superior customer service and quick resolutionHowever, we are also confident we delivered a great product to Rob Murphy on ValentinesWe fully understand and take ownership of the lack of chocolate and confusion on that point, therefore were eager to refund half the product cost, and offer additional happy bouquet of flowers.Additionally, we contacted Bloomnation to ensure the refund of half had indeed been immediately processed, and asked them to confirm with client on their endThey did so within hours to which client confirmed it had been processed. It is disappointing to us, as we cared for this customer promptly, graciously, and generously in her concerns, that this discussion has been taken to this level
