Placed an order online on December 7th for $of Tamales expected delivery by December 22nd, but the order status (order ***) never changed from Awaiting Shipment
Have not received anything yet in January 12,
Have tried Phone calls, which get forwarded to a different number and not answered by a person Left several messages there
Tried leaving messages on their web site, December 22nd and January 2nd, for which there was not replay
Tried leaving a message in their Facebook page, other than a "We'll get back to you" type message, no reply
I now see other people complained about same issue on YELP
Buyer beware! I placed an online order with these people and received only half my order I immediately complained through email and messages on their web site I was ignored for almost two weeks I finally got a message from them saying they would ship the rest of my order out Never got it because they never sent it Tried to get back in touch and was ignored again I had to get with my credit card agency and go through all kinds of paperwork and send proof of the correspondence with these people Then I had to wait business days and get back with my credit card agency to give Hot Damn Tamales a chance to respond My credit card agency was also ignored Finally after a month and a half of dealing with this I got HALF my money back
On December 22, 2016, I placed an order online for tamales with this company My total purchase was in the amount of $ My shipment never arrived When I called on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, I was offered an apology and I was told that Fed Ex would be contacted and I would have my shipment by Friday, January 20, The shipment once again never arrived I called on Saturday, January 21, and the same incoherent individual, pulled up my order number, and said, "I am confused, this is just going to Dallas, right?" She could offer no explanation as to why my shipment had not arrived and I simply asked for a refund She said she needed my card number I told her that I was not going to give her that over the phone This is clearly a fraudulent business She could offer no shipping or tracking information and I simply want my money back This business should also be investigated because it is unacceptable to fraudulently offer a service and to not deliver Moreover
