SCAM! Look them up. They violate Title 39, United States Code, Section 3001 by making this look like a bill. Be careful.

My corporation, after five days of being incorporated, has received two "Certificate of Status Requests" from F.C.F.Sthat appear as invoicesThey deceivingly create the belief that your corporate registration with the State of Florida is incomplete unless corporations take the "final step" (their wording) of completing sensitive payment information and the authorizing the processing of a $feeWhat they do not realize is that I had already paid for and received these documents via email from the Secretary of State (which is where they should come from.) FCFS also asks, in their letter, if you would like them to apply for an EIN for your corporation (for a fee, of course.) Again, I already had applied for my EIN and it is FREE, so they are attempting to scam you yet again(Unless you are one who can justify paying these fraudsters a chunk of cash for something you can do online in minutes.) I attempted to contact them to demand that they stop sending me these letters, but their website claims it isn't working correctly and you should call them(I'm sure it's so they can try to fast-talk you into their "services".) I am happy that, as a Private Investigator, I was able to smell this SCAM a mile away, but I would like to warn others about this fraudulent companyI understand that small businesses have a lot to think about and the letter does look legitTHEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW by making their letter look like an invoice for a government documentSHRED THEIR LETTERS AND DO NOT RESPOND!!! I only hope that in time F.C.F.Sis dissolved once and for allAn added bonus would be to lock this guy up for fraud

F.C.F.S will send new start up businesses in Florida a letter that is designed to appear as if it was from an "official" agencyIn very small print it states "This is not a Government Agency" For the average small business starting up this is a very deceptive letter trying to take your money

I received a letter from Corporate Filing Services in a yellow envelope with a "2015 Annual Minutes Form inside... It does look official...It has my Corporation number, the date incorporated, a "KEYCODE" assigned and it ask for all the correct info you would normally give to SUNBIZ.GOV... One thing I noticed is it states in the form itself that "it is NOT a government agency and does not have or contract with any government agency to provide this service"... That's the give away that this is a scam and it also clear's them of wrong doing and theft if you pay them...the give a month to respond also... Glad I checked for a scam before sending my hard earned cash...NO ONE LIKES A THIEF SO I HOPE YOU ALL GET LONG PRISON TERMS YOU DESERVE

Our office has received dozens of alleged "2014 Certificate of Status Requests" that appear as invoices immediately following the registration of a new corporation with the State of Florida from F.C.F.S. These notices are not only deceitful, but a complete and utter scam and should be regulated/fined by the State of Florida. Solicitations deceivingly create the belief that registration with the State of Florida is incomplete unless corporations follow the step of completing sensitive payment information and the authorizing the processing of a $47.99 fee. As a CPA office whose role is protect its tax clients, we believe this corporation is a disgrace to the State of Florida's Tax system. We only hope that in time F.C.F.S. is dissolved once and for all.
