I would recommend avoiding this company at all costsI made an appointment at the Pinellas Park officeI was forced to wait almost an hour and half before I finally walked outI called later to complain, explained the situation, and was put on holdTen minutes later, while on hold, I was hung up onI find this type of service not only rude and discourteous, but insulting as wellMy time is as valuable as theirs If you want to go, good luckPlan for a VERY long wait

I went to my doctor's office to schedule a colonoscopy and paid my $copay on the day of visit I was then billed $from Florida Digestive Health Specialists and paid immediately A couple of days later, I realized that was for the doctor visit that I already paid and I called and was told that I have a $credit on my account I asked for my refund and a MONTH later am still calling trying to get my money back! This company is NOT to be trusted at all! I have called THREE times already and hear the same response each time "The BOSS has to review and then they'll cut a check" It should NOT take a month or more to receive your overpayment back They're coming across as thieves to me!

FDHS will not refund a duplicate payment I made The Center for Endoscopy (CFE) and the Florida Digestive Health Specialists (FDHS) are sister companies that operate out of one facility and work togetherI am not sure of the difference between these two companies On 4/19/17, I paid a $invoice from CFE mistakenly to the FDHS instead of CFEEven though there was no invoice for FDHS to apply this payment to, FDHS deposited it and it showed posted on 4/ CFE then sent me past due notices, so on 6/26/17, I emailed Judy S [redacted] who told me that I needed to send another check to CFE for $and that "we can refund you that [redacted] Digestive credit of $once the $is paid to the center for Endoscopy" and that they couldn't simply transfer the funds from FDHS to CFEIn good faith, I immediately sent another check to CFE which my bank said would arrive on 6/29/I notified Judy and she responded that "I will look for the payment to be posted and I will turn in t

Inappropriate billing and refuses to listen to what I tell them regarding my health insurance This has occurred over and over with this organization I am retired military and have [redacted] under my SSN It was previously under my wife's SSN, she is retired military as well Since I retired first, I became her dependent under [redacted] for our family plan This Gastroenterology office is the only health provider that continually inaccurately bills me over and over I finally pulled my name off of my wife's policy and got my own [redacted] insurance I explained this to them in detail, yet they still billed my on my wife's The only reason I came off of her policy was because of this health provider and their inability to get my health insurance right...every time When I was on her policy, they look under my SSN When I am on my policy, they look under her SSN I had to argue with them over and over on several occasions to get the billing corrected Now I have

My complaint is regarding the transfer practice policies which preclude patients from freedom of medical care. I was treated by a doctor in the FDHS network in the hospital in November, 2015 (Dr. R [redacted] ). Upon leaving the hospital I tried to schedule an appointment with other recommended GI doctors but was turned away due to my treatment with the doctor from FDHS in the hospital. I was forced to return to him for follow up. Upon doing so I was told by Dr. R [redacted] that I was free to see anyone that I wanted and that he didn't understand why no one else would see me. I finished my treatment with Dr. R [redacted] in January of 2016. In February 2017 I experienced another episode of the same health problem. This time matters were complicated due to a pregnancy. My obgyn saw me and immediately referred me to a GI doctor. Only their office came up against the same obstacles in trying to schedule me with the doctor that they refer patients to (Dr. G [redacted] . I was refused an a

I was given an estimated cost for lab biopsies as $per slide prior to EGD and colonoscopy at Dr*** ***'s officeIt was stated that the cost could be a little moreThere were biopsies sent to Florida Digestive Health Specialists laboratoryThe bill I received was $2,which was adjusted to $for self payI was told that the lab repeated the results, which I don't understand because the result is what it isThey told me that the $for each biopsy slide was correct, but there were charges for each biopsy that was not given with the estimateWhen I told them about the estimate given they said to call Dr***'s office and when I called the office I was told to call Florida Digestive Health SpecialistsI think I am being overcharged and was misled about estimated chargesI don't understand the charges for each biopsy or the repeat test of resultsAm I being billed for the repeat test?
