I am rejecting this response because: When I spoke with the business owner about this, he made it sound like it was and not part of the contractI was agreeable because I did not remember the exact details of the contract but when I reviewed the contract and saw "We will haul away any debris and materials left behind, leaving the premises as they were before job was begun." it was clear that the debris should have been hauled away as part of the amount we paidIf they needed extra money to pay for disposing of the debris they should have added it in the quoted amount or they should not have stated they would remove the debris in their contract. Again, the contact says, "We will haul away any debris and materials left behind, leaving the premises as they were before job was begun." The owner claims this is referring only to "their debris" not ours while we feel it is reasonable for us to interpret that to mean exactly what it saysThey did not haul away any debris and materials left behind and our property most certainly was not left as it was before the job begunThere are two large piles of concrete, stucco and wood in the middle of our back yardWe want it hauled away per the terms of the contract

We have spoken with this client already and responded to his concerns. Regarding the vents on the one side of the house. We told him and he agreed that the house is too close to the ground, therefore not allowing enough space to put any vents. We also explained that there are vents on the other...

three sides of the house and that is sufficient ventilation to keep the ground under the house dry. As to hauling off the client's debris, we are only responsible for hauling our equipment and any remaining materials. We will place any of their debris in their yard, wherever they request and give them the option to haul it away for an additional fee. We are charged a fee for disposing of debris and must pass that along to our clients. When we spoke to this client, he seemed to understand and agree with what we told him. We have never had any previous complaints from clients about hauling their debris away, because all of our previous clients have understood that they were responsible for removal of their debris from their property. Again, as I mentioned before, we spoke to this client about his concerns and he was understanding and agreeable.
