Usually I never bash businesses so this is not what this post is aboutThis is merely a warningDO NOT USE THE WATER TESTING SYSTEM FROM HOME DEPOT!!! It ties to a company called FLORIDA ENERGY WATER AND AIR!!! Our family just moved to Delray and we noticed that our water had a strange odor so we used the Home Depot water testing and were contacted by FEWAWe were pleased with the presentation and decided to go along with itWe were told that someone would come and install the following dayThe person did not show the following day or the day after that and I was going to call them the next day but finally someone showedSo they installed the water filtration system, and tested it not showing me the results of the test but instead telling me to run the water for about a bathtub full so the old water could run outI homeschool kids at different grade levels so I didn't pay attention at the time to the fact that he did not let me see the test results (my fault)I then checked it and I noticed it still had a strange odor the following dayAlready frustrated from having to wait so long for the system to be installed to only have it not work I called the company and told them that the water filtration system was not working to please have someone come and collect itTheir response was "well your three days trial period" has passed since you signed up for the water system so we cannot collect it anymoreI told him it took longer than three days to have someone come install it so there was no way I could have called beforeThey told me by law I now have to keep itIt turns out that the filtration system itself still wasn't even installed properly because it bursts that night so water was leaking out continuously for four days without our knowledge which sent our water bill up by $(Imagine going from a $bill to a $270+ bill) Then I continuously called them for two weeks to tell them that it would not work and it was not working but still no one came to check it apparently someone was supposed to follow up the guy that installed it to test the system no one cameI guess they must've gotten tired of me calling because they finally sent someone out to come and check it when they came out to check it they verified that the water filtration system was not tied to our houseThey once again told me someone would come out and fix itSomeone did come but he couldn't fix it, someone came two days later (probably the only sensible and moral person there) he figured out what the problem was but he couldn't fix it because he had another appointment and it took him so long to figure out the problemThe guy that came the first time came back (a week later because I had to call again) and he fixed it because of what the second guy said to doIt turns out the guy that installed it tied it to the wrong lineIt was tied to our irrigation system so only our grass was receiving the water that was supposed to come inside our houseTo add to it all we financed through them and the interest rate which WE WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE FOR MONTHS is so exorbitant that a system that was only supposed to cost us about $(after an "inconvenience" discount) is now costing almost $10,Want to hear the kicker we can't even pay it off because...wait for itThe *** DAY PERIOD IS PASSEDPlease do not let them *** you guys we have to deal with it there's nothing we can do anymoreI just don't want it to happen to anyone elsePlease feel free to share
*** BEWARE *** Look at review on Google, Yelp, and Ripoff Report!!!
Wow what a bad service providerI had them come out and give an estimate and perform installation of 3rd party softener and filterWhile they indicated $initial price for installation they technician did not give estimate after arriving and taking a look but rather proceeded with work and simply gave us bill over $Unbelievable!
Worst yet was that technician never installed filter because he felt that interchangeable media inside did not have carbonHe also spent hours going to Home Depot for parts and billing for that time
Incomplete job, no estimate up front, price more than double than quoted over the phone, and although they are installer of this equipment you would think they carry parts on their trucks that is not the case, they will go to Home Depot and bill you for that time
Definitely one of the worst service providers I've had to deal with
if you want some one to scam you on price and service give you bad install
ignore your calls when you need them to not show up to 2/3 appointments for service/repair and may or may not com to fixes that work you got just fund the perfect company for you !!
they need to get shutdown .
