Company did not do the job they billed me for and lied repeatedly.
My inground pool had a leak from the main drain as it completely emptied itself. I saw this company's positive reviews and called them. The receptionist insisted that they do a complete check of ALL the possible leaks: tiles, pool, drain, light skimmer, piping line, pump etc and that is the reason they charge 325$ (which is so much more than other companies). I told her my pool was empty and she said the technician could check everywhere for the leaks anyway. I agreed to THAT contract. They then send me a copy-paste email saying "your pool should be full' etc. I sent an e-mail making sure they understood that my pool was empty and that the full leak inspection could be done. They confirmed again that ALL possible leaks would be checked. I decided to invest the extra money do that I would get peace of mind that my pool would be checked completely against leaks.
The tech came, and I was billed the full amount right away.
When I checked their "report" it said that only the main drain was checked and fixed!!!! yet they billed me for checking the entire plumbing, light, skimmer etc.
The tech had put some putty in 5 minutes and took a picture and left!
I called and email the company and they have been arrogant and lying in their answers. One of the manager said that the tech checked the pool light "with his hands"! (he did not unscrew anything). They have charged me 325$ and then hoped that I would not notice that their report confirms that they did not check the light, plumbing, skimmer, tiles etc which I was billed for. I asked them for a refund and got all the stupid answers you can imagine. They said they would do "a courtesy" visit once my pool is filled (for something I was charged already!)" anyway, I do not want these lying crooks anywhere near my house again. I WANT A FULL REFUND OF THE MONEY THEY TOOK FROM ME"
I want a full refund of what they billed me. They have been duly notified to refund me and are wasting my time.

To whom it may concern,
This claim is false and that is NOT how the situation unfolded. We have the initial phone call documented. When she initially called in we did provide the information of how our Standard inspections go. We then advised her to please have the pool filled and for the water to be clean and clear so we could check everything that was mentioned. The customer then, at the end of the conversation, alerted after all of the information, that her pool is empty and she would not be adding water at all. We generally MUST have the pool filled so we can make sure all areas can be checked fully. Our technicians swim around the pools and check by hand with dye for leaks. Then we use electronic equipment to check the underground plumbing using the pressure of the water. This was explained to her. She refused to add water. We told the customer that we would only be able to check limited areas and would check as much as we could with the current state of the pool. She agreed to this arrangement. Our technician was on site and checked as many areas as possible and repaired two major leaks in her main drain. He also checked the plumbing for the main drain. We advised her of the repairs made and to add water back to the pool now that those areas were repaired, so we could see if the water will hold now and so we can make a return visit back out to check the rest of the pool. It is no extra charge to her for this visit but we wanted to make sure we definitely found them all and adding water back would confirm this, because now the water would hold as to before, it would not. Our company actually loses money sending the tech back out for two trips since we made an exception for her to go check the empty pool. This is when the customer turned extremely nasty and irrational. She began threatening and cursing at our employees. Very unnecessary. We called and left her many voicemails and many emails to follow up and try to discuss this further to diffuse the situation and come to a resolution. Again, met with very unnecessary behavior. Our customer service team and technicians are highly trained professionals. We service and repair hundreds of pools a week and have many raving reviews on our services and staff. We feel this customer just simply did not want to pay for services. Our services are non refundable but again, we made an exception for this customer. We have already refunded her payment in full. In her threats she stated if we refunded her she would not move forward with filing this irrational complete or suing our company. We agreed and have refunded, but the customer has still filed this inaccurate claim of events. We wish her nothing but the best and hope now that her pool has been repaired she is able to fill it and use it again as she once could.

They found the leak and had it fixed in no time
Fast response to my pool leak. The technician was super friendly and helpful in giving me a detailed overview of the issue and solutions. Would definitely recommend to others and use again if needed!
They came out, check everything, and found the leak. Simple, but annoying, crack that was forming in the skimmer. So they patched that up and even patched a few other areas just to be sure around it. The tech was great and walked me through the whole process and even gave some tips for future use. The pool has been great and has maintained it's level ever since. Would highly recommend and would use again in a sec....though I hope we don't have to ;)
Description of work:
We had leak in pool, but for life of us we couldn't figure out where. So we had our home warranty folks send a local pool company out to check. They were useless, but ironically they did leave the name of Florida Leak Locators. We call them and were impressed from start. So we had them scheduled to come out and to do a full leak inspection of pool.
Very professional and gave me a quote and did a awesome job! I would highly recommend them to anybody! The price was more than reasonable for what they did for me!!
Just OK. Never followed up with promised services despite several attempts to contact them. you can find better service.
We were referred to a couple of leak repair companies in the area --- in calling I found that some of the OTHER companies reviews didn't reflect the area or franchise that would be coming to my home. All reviews go to a main call center and you have NO idea if the review reflects who you are hiring. That is NOT True with Florida Leak Locator !! This is a locally family owned company and pride in ownership and reputation is evident.
We couldn't have been happier ! The team was very professional, pleasant and efficient! We felt the price was fair and an excellent value for our money. I wish we would have called them sooner! If we have leak problems again we will definitely call Florida Leak Locator.
Had my pool serviced recently and was completely satisfied with the service. Person was very professional and took his time to inspect and fix the problem. Company was recommended by a family member who was also very satisfied with the work .
