I made it clear to Manny that I was selling the home in the next few months and was told no problem. Showed up real quick when I called about the insurance check had been delivered back in Dec. Now, I cannot get a return phone call. I need to sell the home and no work, no eta, no phone call.

I finally fired this company on 1/30/20 after 9 months of unkept promises, delays, lies and negligence. My nightmare with Florida Property Renovations & Management, LLC (FLPR&RM) began on 5/6/19 when its owner came to my house to file a claim for storm damage with my insurance company. As a first-time homeowner, I naively trusted him to help me through the claims process and quickly get my roof replaced. Looking back now, I should have done more research up front because he clearly took advantage of my position. Especially because I allowed him to come inside my home without disclosing he is a convicted felon (according to Hillsborough County court records). Like other customers who filed Revdex.com reviews and complaints, my neighbors, and Nextdoor members, this company took my insurance money and went months without communicating. This became very alarming when I checked the Sunbiz website in October 2019 and discovered this company has an admin dissolution by the State of Florida (that means the business no longer legally exists). As of this post date, they are still under an admin dissolution, but still conducting business. After two weeks of repeated unanswered calls and finally a meltdown where I threatened to sue the business, the owner came to my home and modified the contract to change the start/stop dates from "TBD" to 10/21 to 10/31. After this deadline was missed, I again made repeated phone calls to business over the next week, until I was finally able to speak to the owners ex-girlfriend who promised me the roof would be completed by 11/15/19. The roof replacement finally started on 11/13 but took 4 days finish. During the work, I noticed there was no inspection notice from the county posted on my front door as promised by FLPR&M. The business owner and the subcontractor told me that inspection would take place following the work. However, after checking the county website no permit had been pulled for the reroof. Then on the day after Thanksgiving, the roofing subcontractor (4WD Construction) showed up at my front door demanding payment for the work and threatening that their attorney was going put a lean on my home and they were going to put a ladder on the side of my house. He also informed me that the owner of FLPR&M Renovations was going to report him to ICE. I confronted the owner of FLPR&M and he told me the contractor was an undocumented immigrant and, on another occasion, also told me had threatened to report the contractor to ICE. After weeks of demanding FLPR&M pull a permit and having another verbal meltdown, finally a third party pulled the permit on their behalf. While waiting for the permit, I had another roofer working in the neighborhood do a visual inspection on the roof and discovered that the ridgecap over the garage was noticeably misaligned. I called FLPR&M, texted a picture, and asked them please redo the ridgecap. The owner agreed to send 4WD back out to redo the ridgecap. After several more weeks of promises to repair the ridgecap and also to get the "after the fact" permit paperwork completed, the FLPR&M owner informed me that an engineer had inspected the roof and 4WD had fixed the ridgecap on 1/14/20. However, he informed me the engineer submitted an incomplete report and needed more time submit the additional documents further delaying the process. Two weeks later, on 1/30/20, the FLPR&M owner and his assistant showed up at my home unannounced, brought me outside and had the audacity to say "the ridgecap looks a little straighter" knowing full well it was never repaired. He then called the 4WD contractor and offered gas money for him to come out immediately and repair the roof. I had another meltdown, called them out for lying and told them to leave my property immediately! BOTTOM LINEif you are able to read this time, do not take a risk with this company. They are hit or miss. If you are a first-time homeowner, elderly, or disabled I HIGHLY recommend, NO I implore you, to not do business with this company or give them any money upfront. Especially if they have criminal backgrounds, and do not have a current business license and knowingly work with undocumented immigrants on your property. ALL HUGE LIABILITIES. I expect them to respond to this that per the state law they have 9 months to complete a job, but they could never produce a state statute or county ordinance that codifies that. Also, they may reply that I'm "crazy"YES, the business owner, with his negligence and flippant attitude absolutely threw me over the edge and made my life a nightmare from almost a year now. Now that I am free of them, I am going to hire another engineer and roofer to get this done rightonce and for all!

Manny came out to our house a few months ago when we noticed so discoloration in ceiling in our bathroom. He discovered some wind damage and worked with our insurance company to get someone out there asap.

Our insurance cover the replacement of the roof and they knocked out the project in a weekend. Great job of cleaning up the site and making sure we were happy with the results.

I've recommended them to my neighbors and co-works for their roofing needs.

We handed manny of Florida property renovations a check for almost 10k 5 months ago to fix our roof. My mother who is a senior citizen trusted manny and took his word that the roof would be fixed. Five + months later her roof hasn't been started. Manny doesn't return her calls and when he does tells her she is next in line.

Manny & Dave helped my family get a new roof super fast & made me feel secure in the whole process from the inspection to the insurance claim & even helping me pick shingles & find the contractors to do the job. I would recommend & have recommended Florida Property Renovations to all my friends and family. All permits were pulled inspections with the county were passed. They were extremely helpful. This company and I are going to have some serious issues shortly. They took our insurance company's money back in June for a new roof and they have yet to begin the job. We will be contacting one of the news programs shortly and take to Facebook so that no one else gives them a dime.

Manny came by door to door and helped us after a storm was in the area. We told him we didnt think we had damage because we werent having a lea. I took the free inspection he showed evidence of documented damages and we ended up calling our insurance. Long story short the insurance paid for everything. Thank you Manny!

We recently had a heavy wind storm May,2019 & we called FLORIDA PROPERTY RENOVATIONS & MANAGEMENT to help us after we saw them do a BRAND NEW ROOF for my neighbor Steve back in June of 2018. They did a FREE INSPECTION, they were here EXACTLY ON TIME & THE ROOF WAS APPROVED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR . Which means my insurance company is now paying to replace my roof for us. Manny was amazing through the whole process and has been keeping us informed. OUR NEW ROOF WILL BE GOING UP IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS! As you can tell I'm excited.
