Florida Recovery Service Reviews (2)

This company is one of the most crooked and unprofessional that I've dealt with in a while. I called them to find out the address to locate my belongings, and the first thing the guy asked me was what kind of car it was. The normal protocol would be to ask for the last six digits of my vin number so that was the first red flag. He placed me on hold and a few minutes later he came back and told me I had no belongings other than my tag plate. I told him that couldn't be possible because my trunk was filled to capacity. He told me the car was empty when they got it so I asked for the name of the tow truck driver and he mumbled something a couple of times before saying ***. I asked for his last name and he asked me why. He proceeded to ask me why I didn't been go pick up my belongings, insinuating that I must have not wanted my belongings because I waited so long to get them. I was very annoyed at his harsh and unprofessional tone so I proceeded to ask for his name and he told me very bluntly, ***. At that point I asked to speak to a supervisor and he informed me that he was the manager. I asked to speak to someone else other than him and he persistently asked me why and what I was going to tell them and told me they were going to tell me the same thing. He finally obliged and put me on hold while he briefed the lady on what was going on. When she picked up the phone I asked for the guy's names that I was speaking to, to make sure he wasn't lying and she answered [redacted] very shortly before asking me how she could help me. She cut me off in the middle of me speaking and told me that according to what was explained to her, I was negligent and left my car for days before trying to get it. She quickly got loud and I asked her numerous times to lower her voice but to no avail. I asked her for her name and she mumbled something before telling me it was none of my business. I hung up the phone to see if other people have left reviews and not to my surprise, I am the first one, most likely because they keep changing the name of their business. I then saw that they have a total of 3 employees so I would not be surprised if they're married or related in some way. If you want to do business with people that have some sort of integrity, stay far away from this company. Over $1000 worth of stuff was taken from my car and I will see that they pay for it in some shape or form. I wish I could give zero stars to this despicable "business".
