I am compelled to write this review after our experience with Florida Screen Builders and the pool screen enclosure project we contracted them to do, Initially, we were impressed with the "salesman" and his presentation and made the decision to choose them over two other companies we spoke to, However, we regret our decision based on our experience with this company. We signed the contract on May 13th and the project was not completed until the end of September. The permit was approved in July and the project was schedule to begin several times, Each time no show! Only the first time did I get a call from [redacted] who I believe is the project manager. I politely accepted his excuse to re-schedule. The reschedule date came and no show no call. We called and got another date and once again no show and no call. We at that point became so disgusted with the whole operation we stopped calling. We were out of town when the work finally began. When we returned we found out that [redacted] pulled the guys off the job half way thru because he could not reach us to get our next payment! He had credit card for first and certainly could put a lein on the house however common sense should have prevailed. We were gone 6 days and came home to find a mess. The crew left the materials strewn all over our yard turning the grass yellow. The patio was a mess. Rolls of screening were left in the yard also, When we called and asked to speak to [redacted] we got [redacted] again. Never once did we get to speak to [redacted] even after an email to FSB. We asked when the project could resume and were told the crew was on another job and it would be the next Wednesday. . We cleaned up our yard and moved materials inside and off the grass. Our lawn crew could not even do their job. Our pool service company could not access the pool because of beams and materials blocking the area. The work was finally completed. It passed inspection yesterday. The job was finally done almost 5 months later but after the time, aggravation and many scratches covered with obvious areas of spray paint we wish we had researched this company and made another choice. Also, we received a call from [redacted] to say the inspector was coming and to make sure the paperwork was on the door, I said "What paperwork?" We never had the paperwork put on the door. He rushed out the next day to do that prior to inspection. The problem is the Project Manager, There is no management of the project. [redacted]

Job was well done. Overall, I am very satisfied. Staff were very courteous and attentive. Have fence and extended patio that is covered and screened.
