Review: I had an appt. on Dec. 6, 2014 with a Mr. [redacted] to research, test drive and inquire about a car. During this visit as we were discussing financing, I specifically told him more than once that my husband and I would only finance through our bank. He seemed to understand, but kept talking so much and so fast I could hardly keep u. At one point, he said he wantd to just check on something and asked me for my social security number of which I complied. A couple of months later I was checking my credit report as I often do and low and behold an inquiry from FLOW GMC on my report. As you know a hard inquiry lowers your credit score! I was and am furious! I have emailed the managerof Flow Cadillac sking them to resolve this issue with the credit reporting agency and have recieved no reply. I feel this is unfair and incalled for! I NEVER autorized this man to do a credit check on me and I am furious!Desired Settlement: I want this inquiry removed from my credit report as it was unauthorized!



We would like to apologize to the customer for this misunderstanding. Our sales consultant believed that he was doing what was in the best interest of the customer, but given the stated experience of Ms. [redacted], this is not the case. As a result, we are currently doing everything in our power to process a removal of the inquiry on the customer's credit report. We have not yet encountered any issues in the process and remain confident that we will be able to remove this inquiry.

Review: This is about more than one issue. We purchased a 2008 Hummer H3 from Flow Cadillac in Winston Salem. It had 966 miles on it. We had a house in North Carolina and West Virginia and put most of the 19,000 on it going from WV to NC for problem after problem, which they always insisted were non existent. Fact is it was a lemon! They didn't disagree but said we owed more that the vehicle was worth, approximately $15,000 and at that time the vehicle had approximately 5,000 miles on it. We paid $40,759.96 when everything was totaled up. This included an extended service agreement, bumper to bumper, seven years or 100,000 miles for $2,623.00 which we found out recently from several other dealerships could have been purchased for around $500.00. The ball joint on the hummer broke, it was towed to an authorized dealer and found our that warranty didn't cover the ball joint. We finally sold the Hummer on April 19th 2013 with it's 20,000 miles. We have made numerous attempts to contact Flow to get a rebate on our extended service agreement and Gap insurance which we paid $595.00 for. We have left messages for [redacted] and the general manager and they will not return our calls. I had a heated argument with [redacted] several months ago and suspect than may be the reason they are ignoring us.Desired Settlement: Refund of extended warranty, never used.



The extended warranty and gap insurance refund request has been processed. The cutomer should receive the refund in the US mail.
