My grandson ordered two flower arrangements for Mother's Day for me, his grandmother, and for his mother, she lives with me. He ordered them days ahead to be delivered between Friday, May 9, 2020 and May 10, 2020. My daughter's flower arrangement was delivered on Sunday, Mother's Day, May 10, 2020. BUT, they were delivered to my neighbors house, the wrong address. My neighbor brought the arrangement over to my daughter. My flowers were delivered late morning on Monday, May 11, 2020. No one knocked on the door or rang the doorbell to announce my delivery. The flower arrangement was left on the doorstep in the hot sun.The flower arrangement was wilted and dropping petals. My grandson paid hard earned money for these two flower arrangements and was cheated. I called the florist at 2:28 pm to complain and the rude female who answered told me to give my phone number, which I did twice. She said someone would return my call later. She quickly said they were too busy to talk to me. Her dialect was Asian and hard for me to understand.
Replacement I would like my flower arrangement to be replace with fresh flowers OR I would like for my grandson's money refunded to him for the one flower arrangement that was a day late with wilted flowers.
I did talk with the owner of the florist and she insisted that she did nothing wrong. She said that it was my grandson's fault because he ordered from 1-800 Florist.com. She suggested next time that he order directly from a local florist. She also said that he gave a wrong address, he did not give an incorrect address; he used to live with me and knows this address. She did offer for me to come by her florist and she would make me a new "beautiful" arrangement. She cannot refund my grandson's money because he did not order directly from her store. I told her that I cannot come by her store to get a new arrangement. She said that she would keep my name and I could come by her store to get a new arrangement for up to one year. She insisted several times that this was not her fault. I told her to just forget it and I would have my grandson to order from another florist next time he wishes to send me flowers.
