IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT.LINDSEY CAME INTO MY SHOP 8/22/14 FOR A WEDDING CONSULTATION. CAME BACK 10/3/14 AND PUT A DEPOSIT OF...

$867.00/30% OF THE COST OF THE WEDDING.ON 5/14/15 HE GAVE AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT $173.00 TOWARDS THE WEDDING DEPOSIT. ON THAT DAY SHE HAD ME DO A SEPARATE INVOICE TO GIVE TO HER MOTHER-IN-LAW TO PAY. THAT IS THE AMOUNT OF THE MONEY LINDSEY IS REQUESTING BACK. SHE HAD ME DO A SPECIAL INVOICE BECAUSE SHE FEARS THE MOTHER-IN-LAW THAT SHE WOULDNT PAY FOR THE TRUE COST OF THE WEDDING FLOWERS AS SHE PROMISED.LINDSEY HAS BEEN IN MY STORE AT LEAST 7 TIMES SINCE HER INITIAL CONSULTATION. SINCE I BOOKED HER THERE HAS BEEN BRIDE AND A SMALL BIRTHDAY PARTY I TURNED DOWN SO I COULD SERVICE HER WEDDING DAY.THAT WAS LOST WEDDING AND PARTY.
ON 5/10 AND 5/XX XXXX LINDSEY CAME IN AND MADE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO HER WEDDING COLORS AND FLOWERS. SHE STATES THAT I MADE CHANGES TO HER WEDDING WITHOUT HER PERMISSION.NON-TRUTH #1. I HAVE OWNED FLOWERLOFT FOR 39 YEARS AND HAVE DONE THOUSANDS OF WEDDINGS."NEVER" IS THERE A CHANGE TO A WEDDING WITHOUT DISCUSSING THOSE CHANGES PERSONALLY WITH THE BRIDE. PERIOD..06/25/2015 LINDSEY SAID THAT I WOULDN'T WORK WITH HER. NON-TRUTH #2. LINDSEY TOLD ME LIKED CANDELABRAS AT THE OTHER FLORIST BETTER I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD BE GLAD TO RENT THE CANDELABRAS FROM THE OTHER FLORIST. LINDSEY SAID THE FLORIST WOULD NOT DO THAT. I TRIED TO ACCOMMODATE HER.LET ME BE CLEAR 99% OF FLORISTS WILL NOT WORK WITH OTHER FLORISTS BECAUSE OF LIABILITY AND JUST A GOLDEN RULE.
NON-TRUTH #3 I NEVER SAID HER FIANCE WAS A [redacted].
LINDSEY'S FIANCE "DID" USE PROFANITIES AT ME IN MY STORE WITH A THREATENING FORCEFUL DEMEANOR BODY LANGUAGE. I DID TELL THEM TO LEAVE IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND THEY SAID "NO" NOT UNTIL THEY GOT THEIR MONEY BACK.
LINDSEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE MONEY SHE USED FOR THE DEPOSIT WAS HER FIANCE MONEY.
06/25/2015 AFTER SHE AND HER MOTHER AND FIANCE LEFT THE STORE AFTER I THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE, LINDSEY CAME BACK INTO THE STORE AND SAID "OK" YOU CAN DO MY FLOWERS FOR MY WEDDING..... I TOLD HER I WOULD DO A BEAUTIFUL JOB AND SHE WOULD BE VERY HAPPY WITH HER FLOWERS... THEN SHE IN THE SAME BREATH SHE SAID "NO I WANT MY MONEY BACK. TOTALLY JEKYLLL AND HYDE. 4TH NON-TRUTH. I NEVER SAID"DON'T COME IN MY STORE AGAIN." I THEN ASKED HER TO LEAVE FOR THE SECOND TIME.. AND THAT'S WHERE IT ENDED.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS LINSEY SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR MY SERVICES AND I MET WITH HER MANY TIMES TO CONFIRM HER WISHES AND MANY CHANGESI DON'T MIND ABOUT A BRIDE CHANGING HER MIND MANY TIMES,ITS PART OF THE BUSINESS FOR HER SPECIAL DAY. JUST BECAUSE SHE CHANGED HER MIND ABUT THE CANDELABRAS DOESN'T MAKE ME RESPONSIBLE TO GIVE HER MONEY BACK,ESPECIALLY BECAUSE I TURNED DOWN 2 EVENTS TO ACCOMMODATE HER SPECIAL DAY.
I'LL FAX OVER A COPY OF HER SIGNED CONTRACT AND THE MOTHER-IN-LAW PROPOSAL.

[redacted] only attached the last page of his contract of which he has made several changes to without my signature, which voids the contract. He is also not working with me with the money I already provided him. The other florist will not rent out her candelabras to anyone, so I asked him to provide me with the flowers stated on the receipt which amounts to $1040. [redacted] said that he could not provide the items on the receipt unless her can be the only florist providing flowers for my wedding, including the flowers in the other florist's candelabras. Each time I walk into [redacted]'s public flower shoppe, he never stated he was busy or had another event, so if he lost time for another customer, I was never aware of that. I'm requesting my deposit back because I will never receive what I paid for and the entire contract had been modified without my approval or signed initials several times after the date that I signed it.

[redacted] also promised me free use of his candelabras and then wanted the to charge me for renting his candelabras, which provoked me to look elsewhere for centerpieces. I'm requesting my deposit back because I will never receive what I paid for and the entire contract had been modified without my approval or signed initials several times after the date that I signed it.
