Our manager at the Warsaw location has met with this customer and the issue has been resolved amicablyNo further problems should occur with this deal

On March 17, the whole problem was resolved and handled very professionally by the Warsaw store I greatly appreciate the help from the manager at this location he is definitely a person to deal with and very honest

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/07/06) */
We have been in contact with *** through this whole processWe suggested she take it to a local dealership and have the issues looked atShe did that and we have been in contact with that dealership and have gone forward with fixing the
items that the dealership suggested we shouldWe completed that transaction and have paid for the suggested repairs
For not representing the vehicle appropriately, we feel this is incorrectHer salesman *** *** went through all pictures with her and through the carfax which states it was a canadian unit up until we purchased it at auction
WE feel that we have done everything we can for her at this pointattached is an additional breakdown of the transaction up to the complaint
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/07/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mr*** did not go through the pictures with meHe did suggest I take a look at them, which I did, several timesThere were no pictures of the engine, or the undercarriageThe carfax indicated no accidents or recalls, but no mention of the amount of rust or level of damageThere was no mention of the damage by Mr*** or anyone elseHad I known the Jeep had the amount of rust damage it does I would have never purchased the vehicleI believe that information was intentionally withheld from meThe repairs my local dealership made are only temporaryMy local dealership was not able to make the suggested replacement of the brake lines (authorized by R&B Car Company) due to the fragile nature of the metal, and fear of causing further damageThe brake lines, unable to be repaired and in an unstable condition make the Jeep unsafe to drive long termOther issues due to the level of rust are expected as indicated on the service record
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/07/19) */
As per the first responsesMs.*** had the same opportunity to look at the photos and the information we provided her was above and beyond what we typically do, in part to the fact of her living out of state and R and B Car Company not wanting a situation to ariseAfter reviewing the paperwork provided from *** *** and the report done on 6/by the employee, *** *** his form labeled "Multi-Point Inspection" shows that the upkeep of the vehicle passed with all of the items on the list marked as either "Checked and ok" or "will need future attention." There is not one item on that list showing requires immediate attentionR and B Car Company has taken the steps to repair and pay for what we agreed to and did some after that sale that was not part of the agreement to help Ms*** with her vehicleWe at this point ask that the case to be closedWe have provided all materials to show Ms*** had all opportunities to make a good decision and did so, and that R and B Car Company did due diligence in providing that the correct steps were taken with the process
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2016/07/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I stand by my claim that R&B Company misrepresented the JeepThe fact that none of the photos of the vehicle showed the rust and I was not informed in any way of the damage caused by the rust was deceptiveI did not have the information to make an informed decisionHad I been informed of the issue I would have never purchased the vehicleAgain, *** *** was not able to make all necessary repairs because of the rust damage and did indicate I would likely have repairs in the futureBefore submitting this complaint Mr*** told me he was "working on something" to find out if I could return the JeepI asked for clarification and he said he needed to ask the owners if I could return the JeepThat indicated to me he was willing to work with me and help me outHowever, I never heard back from himI would like to return the Jeep and get my money backI am highly unsatisfied with this entire situation

In regards to the [redacted] dispute:
She did in fact purchase a vehicle from R and B Car Company. Her brother, [redacted] was the sales person on the deal. He took the best care he could for her situation by helping her pick out a...

nice van and make very little money due to the fact that we obviously want to take care of our family.
Ms. [redacted], did in fact drive the car and notify R and B Car Company of the situation with it breaking down. We adviced everyone to bring it to our dealership so we could look at it and repair it. The decision was made to take it to their uncles car dealership, Grote Automotive, in Fort Wayne because they could get it right in and he was family and would help offset some costs. R and B Car Company did pay to get that vehicle repaired which at that time we were told it was all taken care of. At that time R and B Car Company assumes all is fine, due to Grote Automotive's service department giving it the good bill of health.
A few days went by when Ms. [redacted] called R and B Car Company once again to say she was having the problem again. We advised her to take it back to the service center that we paid to fix it.
We have never had the chance to look at the vehicle and are taking word that anything is actually wrong with it. We tried to get it brought here from day 1 and Ms. [redacted] chose to have other people work on it.
We do offer warranty's to all customers at the time of purchase and Ms. [redacted] declined the offer.
It is R and B Car Company's request that at this time we be held with no responsibility to the vehicle. We will gladly assist in trading Ms. [redacted] out if we find a reliable vehicle that the bank would be willing to offer a loan on.

I would like to point out, that the reason I chose to have it fixed in Fort Wayne, as opposed to taking it back to where I purchased the vehicle, is because the car was not in working order, to be driving it 45 minutes away, in Warsaw. I would have most certainly brought it back to the dealership I bought it from if it weren't dangerous for me to be driving it that far, I could've been in an accident as the car wasn't giving warning as to when I was gonna lose acceleration, I have since had my car looked at by Evans Toyota of Fort Wayne, I paid out of pocket to have it looked at and fixed, I picked it up and broke down that night on my way home, with a phone call from Ben the service advisor, telling me the throttle body and throttle body assembly would need replaced, with Toyota parts and the grand total at about $3700. So I haven't had a car in a month and as a single mother of 3 children it's been very difficult to even get to work. i'm failing to understand why me, the customer, the person who paid $500 plus a trade in, is getting this kind of treatment, is it because I'm a woman? [redacted] called on July 12th, 2017 stating that she went to the nearby Toyota dealer and they pulled a Autocheck history report on the vehicle stating it had frame damage. Most dealers will use either Autocheck or Carfax. We use Carfax...

here since it is most widely known for our customer base. The car fax shows a accident which she seen on the date of purchase showing moderate damage, no title branding and no frame damage. On that Monday I told her we don't sell any salvage title vehicles and if it was a salvage title we would disclose it and in that case we would not obtain financing because most banks and credit unions wont write loans on a salvage title vehicle. I then proceeded to tell her that I would check into the problem by Wednesday since it was after 5 that day because our office was closed at that point and because I was out of town that Tuesday. Wednesday morning first thing I called my title clerk and had her pull the original title from the deal that we had saved in the prior sellers name and had her fax it over to me. The title wasn't branded just like I stated to her on that Monday. I called and left her a message around 10:00 a.m. that morning and she showed up shortly after that around XXXX-XXXX. First I handed her the faxed copy that I received from my office and then explained that clerical errors do occur with not only autocheck but I have also seen it with Carfax information as well. They can both be incorrect at times do to human error. I then asked her if she has had a mechanic or anyone else put the vehicle in the air and check the frame because we do a inspection on every vehicle that we purchase and I could guarantee that checked that vehicle inside and out before she purchased it and no frame damaged existed on it. I even offered to purchase the vehicle back from her at fair market value. She then proceeded to get upset threating with lawyers and stormed out of our building. Approximately 5 to 10 minutes after she left she stormed back into our showroom screaming where the f is the guy I was talking to because he's a liar and a fraud because the copy of my title was altered. I take great prided in my representation as a individual and didn't appreciated being accused of committing fraud and proceeded to tell her to follow me and walked her to the door and asked her to leave.

This car was purchased by R&B Car company from an auto auction. The car was list at the auction as "AUCTION ANNOUNCED AS STRUCTURAL DAMAGE." R&B was fully aware of the car history despite a clean car fax report. AutoCheck also states "A wholesale Auto Auction has reported that the vehicle has frame damage, which can weaken the structure of the vehicle." This is fraud by concealment due to the fact it was never disclosed at the time of purchase. I was also never shown a car fax report. According to Deceptive Consumer Sales Act IC, 24-5-0.5-1 frame damage must be disclosed. R&B Car Company consealed information about the car that would have impacted my decision to purchase the car.

weddings to see their bouquets and review their entire order.  The bride came in, reviewed and approved everything.  When the groom came into our store the day after his wedding looking for a refund it was explained to him that he would have to file a formal complaint and then would hear back from us. After speaking with the groom and listening to his complaints I spoke with the designer and the crew that set up the party.  This client had no compliments about the reception at all.  His only valid compliant was about the cake decor, again which was complimentary.  So the $100.00 offer and 2 free bouquets of flowers, we felt was generous.

Review: Flowers by Brian did the flowers for our wedding on October *, 2013. In our contract it clearly states that we were supposed to receive 6 bridesmaids bouquets and we only received 5. The flower delivery arrived approximately 40 minutes later than discussed which ended up giving us 10 minutes until pictures were supposed to begin. In order to correct this problem we had to send one of the bouquets into town to a local florist who charged us $150 to make a similar bouquet. Another issue that we had was a change in the number of centerpieces that we needed for the event. We initially needed 11 centerpieces that were $140 each and reduced that number to 9 because we had reduced the number of tables. We have e-mails documenting every change that was made. We attempted contacting Flowers by Brian numerous times via e-mail and telephone starting approximately 2 days after the wedding. I spoke with the owners assistant twice and she assured me that she was speaking to the owner to figure out the reimbursement we were entitled to due to the fact that we payed for a bouquet that we didn't receive, we had to pay a local florist to make a bouquet last minute, and the reduction in the number of centerpieces. Today is December ** approximately 2 1/2 months later. Today for the first time I actually received a call from the company telling me "they'll see me in court."Desired Settlement: $100 for the bouquet that we didn't receive. $150 for the bouquet we had made last minute. $280 for the 2 centerpieces that we removed from the order. The total money actually owed to us is $530 due to the fact that we paid the total amount before the changes were made and the number of bouquets delivered was incorrect.

Review: I recently had a wedding using Flowers by Brian for my wedding flowers. My wife and her mother sat down with the designer, [redacted], 3 seperate time for over 5 hours, describing in detail with pictures what she wanted. Notes were taken by the designer and than written down on a contract. When my wife went in to give the final payment the day before the wedding all of the flower arraignments were wrong. The designer never gave any of his notes to the workers. The flowers provided did not match what was requested in the contract. The vendor swapped out exotic flowers that we paid for with cheaper flowers. In the contract, flowers by Brian was to decorate the cake with flowers. They did not put any flowers on the cake. The bill was over $3200. I called to complain and eventually spoke with the [redacted], [redacted]. After hearing all of my complaints she offered me $100 and some flowers. I was extremely disappointed with the refund offer so I made a critical review on weddingwire.com. When my wife called to accept the refund from the [redacted], [redacted], she attempted extortion. She told us she would only give us the refund if we removed the negative reviews.Desired Settlement: $500 refund for not decorating the cake and for not providing what was on the contract.

On behalf of Flowers by Brian we are very sorry to hear how upset this client was with his cake decor. Review: Delivered Flowers Late, did NOT provide Flower Girl Basket or pedals for basket we had to tear apart other people corsages and ask for flowers from another wedding party ending. Missing flowers for both Bride's and Groom's parties to wear. Amount of flowers demoed was less than half of what was delivered for the centerpieces, they didn't eve bother stuffing it with cheap or fake flowers just didn't put much of anything in the fish bowl. They also did not decorate cake with pedal as promised. Upon contacting Flowers by [redacted] they said they delivered what we paid for anything else was considered a courtesy and said they DIDN'T have to give anything since we didn't pay specifically for it however in the contract it said because we are purchasing "X" items we'll give "Y" items to you for using our business. [redacted] was a nightmare to deal with the first time we visited she yelled at us for trying to haggle the price and screamed at us saying they did things for 10 times the value of what we were asking for and specially said that they did not need our money. Unfortunately they were the most reasonably priced and affordable, they were also one of the few willing to make us a sample, but at there never able to come to a conclusion. Everyone there had an extremely nasty attitude from beginning to end.Desired Settlement: We spent around $2,000 even though only partially filled center-pieces and a bouquet were the only things we really got. I would appreciate a call from the owner an a 1/4 of our money refunded back.
