Have no received our $500 refundable deposit that we placed on July 11th to hold an RV we didn’t purchase. The finance department stated the refund would be processed July 15th. I contacted the business again on July 17th when I had not received the money, I spoke with ***, and *** in the finance department, both assures me the refund would be processed. I called again July 20th when the money will was not refunded and spoke with ***, he took my phone number and said he needed to speak with their credit card company and call me back. When *** called back he stated the issue was with my bank, and I would need to take care of it on my own. I had to file a dispute with my bank on the original charge and it would take up to 90 days to receive the $500. I want the money refunded.

We processed the refund on 7/15 as stated and I have enclosed a copy of the receipt. Once we process the credit card refund it is up to the bank and credit card processors to deliver the funds. We contacted our credit card processor and they explained that is was an issue with the customers bank. I would encourage the customer to contact their bank and possibly file a complaint with the bank. It is completely out of our control at this point.

I am rejecting this response because: The document attached has no card information listed. In my original complaint, I stated that I did contact my bank, and they have nothing pending, and can not see that a refund was ever issued. I notified the bank of what the finance office at Floyd’s told me about contacting their cars company, and my bank assured me the issue is not on their end, and that possibly the refund was processed incorrectly at Floyd’s. My only other option with my bank was to dispute the original transaction, which I did, as I stated in my original complaint. Floyd’s needs to find a way to process the refund.

Sincerely,

Jada Dobrinski

Customer informed us they received the refund in their bank

I had water heater fixed, went on trip to Colorado water heater did not work. Floyd's charged another 300.00 to actually fix it this time. Tried to charge me cash even with having a warranty. Admin called me a liar on messenger. I bought this camper brand new from them in 2017 and a handle, 2 light covers and the new paper tag fell off on the way home. That was just the start of dealing with the Floyd's Expiernce. What ever you do don't give them a earnest money check before the deal is done. You may get what I got as in things falling off your camper on the 12 mi ride home.

This is in response to a letter we received regarding Mr. *** and his repair that was made at our facility. Mr. came to our repair shop in May of 2019 to have his water tank replaced on his trailer. He had ordered the tank itself from our parts counter. He then brought us his trailer so we could change out the water tank, in which the old was busted due to freeze damage from not winterizing the plumbing. We changed out the water tank with a new water tank and all was working good when it left our shop. We then receive a call that the water heater doesn’t work in July of 2019. Mr. then brought us the trailer Aug 1st of 2019 and we diagnosed the water heater in which we found that the circuit board was bad. We called to get permission to replace the board and Mr. told us that he shouldn’t have to pay for the repair and has an extended warranty that he wanted to use. We called the extended warranty and got approval for the circuit board replacement and labor cost. We advised Mr. that extended warranty will cover all but his $100.00 deductible. Mr. was upset and didn’t think he should have to pay anything because it was just here for a repair for the water heater. We advised that all we did was replace the actual tank itself. We did not preform any wiring or electrical repairs to this unit and that the unit was working when it left here. Advised this is a component failure on the circuit board. Advised that this is a completely different issue than replacing the tank itself and component failures to electrical components do happen. Mr. then paid his deductible of $100.00 and left with his trailer.

I bought my 2017 Riverside White Water Retro 177 SE camper at Tulsa RV, as no one in OKC sold that camper at that time. I noticed Floyd's RV now sold Riverside White Water Retro's, and called to see if they would do warranty work on the one I have. They told me yes so I scheduled a time to take it in to be serviced April 20, 2018.. *** I believe is the Service Manager checked it in and said it could take three to four weeks to complete the work. I called April 30, 2018 at 11:53 a.m. and spoke with *** who told me it had not been looked at yet, check back at the end of the week. . I called 5/4/18 at 9:16a.m. and talked to *** - said it had not made into the service area yet, but it was next in line to be serviced he would call me once it was in service. *** called me 5/8/18 at 12:45 p.m. to say it was going to be three more weeks and I may want to take it back where I purchased it to be serviced. I asked what happened to my camper being next to be services and *** stated they had bigger projects and a show coming up and all his techs were busy. I called Floyd's RV and talked to the General Manager T. R., because I felt like I was being pushed to take my RV back to where I purchased because they did not want to do warranty work, he told me the service advisor should have told me that all trailers coming in for service that has been purchased from them will go before my RV. That is the way they do business.
