On February 20th the customer [redacted] brought clothes in to our drop off service. She stated that her clothes were damaged by a shipping company.She stated they were damaged by a chemical pesticide. She also stated she had an insurance claim to wash her clothes. She requested they be washed with her...

personal soap and not the laundromats. She also had blankets with her as well that she did not want us to wash because of the cost.. As the attendant was sorting the laundry Ms [redacted] was there watching as she was washing her blankets. The laundromat sorts each garment by color and types. We also inspect each item before washing for damage and other potential problems.The attendant who was doing the customers laundry did notice tags on items and removed them as she found them. After the sorting each bin of clothes were put into the wash. They are washed in different machines based on the size of the loads. Once the wash was complete they were put into the dryer. Once the clothes were finished drying they were folded and put into bags. Later in the evening Ms. [redacted] called to say her clothes were not washed because a couple items still had tags on them. She demanded a refund. Fluff & Fold has a excellent reputation for customer service so we offered to rewash the load free of charge. M[redacted] refused and wanted a refund. She continued to badger the attendant and threatened us with a lawsuit to get her refund. She refused over and over to have the service redone at no charge to her. Fluff & Fold Laundromat services the garments with the greatest of care as stated on the receipt Ms. [redacted] signed when she dropped off her laundry.Fluff & Fold stands by its service and will not give into customers who try and circumvent our system. Even with uncomfortable situation that the customer caused by verbal threats and badgering the offer is still there to have the clothes redone at no charge to the customer.

Review: On February 20, 2015 I brought in 177 pounds of laundry to be washed at Fluff & Fold. My entire wardrobe was damaged by odor during shipment with a moving company. I paid $177.00 cash at the time of dropping off my laundry. When I brought my laundry home that evening I began unpacking it and putting it away. I came across some of my personal items that clearly had not been washed. These items have never been worn and still have the original cardboard price tags from the stores of purchase. Had they been washed, the tags would have been damaged. Many of my clothes still have an odor. This laundromat did not wash all of my belongings. I called and the owner insisted she washed everything. This is NOT true!!! Not possible. She said she would wash everything over. I am not trusting her with my belongings. I want a refund.Desired Settlement: Clearly many of my belongings were not washed. I would like a $177.00 refund so that I can WASH all of my items that have not been washed
