Flushing Stone & Kitchen Depot

Review: On May **, 2015, installers from Flushing Stone & Kitchen Depot aka New Flushing Stone & Kitchen Depot (the receipt given us says New Flushing Stone & Kitchen Depot) came to install granite countertops we had ordered and put a $100 deposit on 3 days prior on May [redacted]. They had originally given me a week for installation but called me at the last minute with less than an hour's notice on the [redacted].

The installers came in and demanded cash immediately or else they would tack on tax and "service fees." I was alone and felt intimidated & paid them $1,620 in cash (making it $1,720 with the deposit). Only two granite countertops matched somewhat. The 3rd countertop, which was the only one completely wrapped in paper until they put it on the counter, was a serious mismatch to the other two and I complained but since they had gotten their money, they said they couldn't do anything and left abruptly.

I had my daughter call them a couple of days later and their customer rep Jesse was very rude and unprofessional yelling that we were lucky they even came out to Long Island and that we had ordered the countertops that way. My daughter then proceeded to email them but she got no response.

The contractor who recommended them called them several times over many days and finally they said they would deliver a matching countertop the day after Memorial Day which made us cut short our trip that weekend.

Again, they delivered a seriously mismatched countertop that is noticeably different from several yards away.

The installers even agreed it did not match and said they would call the business & come back which they never did. We have been waiting for our contractor to help us with this matter to no avail.Desired Settlement: It's obvious by their rudeness, unprofessionalism, shady business tactics, various business names that they will not replace my countertop with matching granite. I have to go elsewhere and pay only by check so I can be guaranteed that I will get what I ordered. I need a refund.

Review: Dear Sir/ Madam;On 02/**/14 I created and placed an order and paid in full for kitchen cabinets and and island for my kitchen the person that assisted was [redacted] with New Flushing Stone & Kitchen located [redacted]. The cabinets was delivered on 02/**/14. Right before the snow storm. On Saturday 2/**/14 my contractor and I discovered all the cabinets I ordered had not been delivered and the wrong cabinets size were delivered and they did not deliverer the fillers either. I went back to the New Flushing Stone & kitchen and returned one of the cabinets and [redacted] told me she would deliver the replace and she gave me a filler. In addition, [redacted] had not given me the correct kitchen plans with the adjustments that were made to the final plans the day of payment. I return back it my apartment with my contractor and he explained that based on the kitchen plans she just gave me we were missing anther cabinet and panel for the refrigerator. I called [redacted] and asked her to pick up the items she delivered and I and requested a full refund. [redacted] refused.Desired Settlement: I want the merchant to pick up the items they delivered and I would like to return them with a full refund.
