Flying Fur NJ Mobile Pet Grooming Service

On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, I had my 5 pound Yorkie groomed by Flying Fur NJ. I spoke to the groomer, Cecilia, about how I wanted my dog groomed. I watched the whole grooming procedure from outside the van. They were grooming just the way I had asked, but it became a horror when Cecilia the groomer hit my Yorkie on the head with the wire bristle brush. She knew I saw her do it. She told me he was going to bite her, but my dog was docile and not aggressive. When Cecilia came out of the van with my Yorkie, I told her I didn't appreciate her abusive manner to my dog. She apologized excessively. If you read Flying Fur's website , they say they treat their customers animals as if they are family. NOT TRUE!

I called the owner Virgil, left messages and when I finally got to speak to him, I told him about what took place. He seemed surprised. He was going to talk to Cecilia. Well, this morning December 8, 2015, I called him again and left another message. He finally got back to me and now he is singing a different tune. He now says Cecilia just hit my dog with her hand on his head because he was going to bite her. Virgil then made a comment to me on the phone, "Well, if I wasn't watching, I would have never known what took place. To me Virgil is now covering up for his worker. I saw what occurred with my own eyes. My dog was not going to bite her, He had a harness around his midsection and a halter around his neck preventing him from moving. Ever since this occurred my Yorkie has been very skittish and nervous. What else would they have done to my dog if I wasn't watching? Who knows? This has been a very big learning experience for me.

Don't believe anything you read on Flying Fur NJ website. The owner is not understanding, he sides with his groomers to protect himself, his groomer Cecilia is abusive to animals, and Virgil gives no satisfaction to his customers.

I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE USING FLYING FUR NJ'S SERVICE.
