I would like to say that I have dealt with a representative by the name Soon *** from FMS, and I was very impressed by the way he dealt with me and helped me resolve my issue and situationHe was very professional and courteousI have also worked in collections and been on both ends of the phone lines, and he done an outstanding jobI can see that he takes pride in his work and someone should know that at FMS

This company is very misleading! I was told on February 3, that I could do a rehiblitation program that would make my payments $to get my student loans out of default and the tax offset taken off once I made consecutive paymentsI was aware at the time that months would obviously be May but the deadline for taxes is April 15th but the representative I talked to said that if I made payments in February one being the the 5th of February and another being a couple days later that that would be considered a January and February paymentsBeing this case the offset would be taken off on April 5th because that would be the 4th consecutive month and I would be fine to file because the offset would automatically pick it up and I would be able to fileI call today April 13, and was told that she was incorrect for giving me that information and that I have to wait until May's payment is received! I asked the representative I talked to February 3rd a few times if she was correct and got the same answer every time that April will be my 4th month of payments! I don't like being lied to! All she had to do was told me the truth! Either way what can I do but wait for the May payment! Just beware!!!!!

inaccurate based on the proof FMS says that they can provide to verify/validate this debt. This is not a refusal to pay the debt if it is owed. However, my records indicate all of my student loans and debt from the school are up to date and being paid.

I am in the Rehabilitation Program and I have my payments taken out of my bank account. I filed my 2015 taxes only to have them offset without notice or given a chance to come to an agreement on paying some out of it. This has put my family in a tremendous financial bind and I am going to request a hearing. I have asked before if my wages were going to be garnished or if some other consequence would occur and TWO REPRESENTATIVES told that none of those things would happen as long as I made my payments. I am not only upset but I feel like this company is very unprofessional and under trained.
