Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
I would like to add that I am NOT complaining about the service being done for no charge, I'm complaining because the part was put in and I was refused a receipt for it! The owner was rude and very inconsiderate to my needs. The owner told me that in order for him to give me a receipt he'd have to charge me. When asked for a  reason why because it didn't make sense to us to not get a receipt, the owner stated," it doesn't have to make sense to you because it makes sense to me!". He continued to be loud and rude, huffing and puffing. All we wanted was a piece of paper showing that he did the work, but he wouldn't supply it. The owner is also stating that the axle had nothing to do with the replacement of the transmission, when indeed it does. The axle must be removed in order to get to the transmission. So the part that broke on me only two months after the transmission was replaced was in his hands. It's impossible for him to say he "couldn't tell if it was in need of replacement!!! I had 3 mechanics agree with this statement. I worked on cars myself going on 12 years now, so I'm familiar with the part. The owner most definitely was able to tell that the part was on its way out and STILL let me drive off of his lot knowing a child would be in this unsafe vehicle! THAT is why he replaced the axle for free, not to be courteous as he claims. Why else would you replace a part you could have made over $300.00 on? Also, the owner keeps mentioning how he gave me free towing, well if you call his business and listen to the answering machine, it states that as long as your car is towed during business hours, you receive FREE towing. This wasn't another "courtesy " as [redacted] is also claiming!!! I appreciate the receipt, but why wasn't it given to me the day I asked for it? Why isn't it "company policy" to give a receipt for work done regardless of what it cost? The receipt could have easily stated "no charge, done as a courtesy "! I'm also very upset now that the owner is stating that once I trade in my car that the warranty is not applicable to whom ever gets it next. I was told by the woman up front that all I have to do is give the paperwork to the next owner and it'll be covered. Now all of a sudden , because I'm complaining about an issue I'm having, it isn't covered! This is bad business and I find it very hard to believe that EVERY ONE has been satisfied in over 20 years. Anyways, all I want is an apology for treating us like dirt after giving the company almost $3,000.00 for my transmission and a receipt for the "courtesy" axle the owner so rudely rejected me of . Thank you for your time!

On April 08, 2015 we replaced the transmission on [redacted] Noyes 00 Acura TL.On June 22, 2015 [redacted] called and indicated the vehicle would not move. We towed the car from [redacted] to our shop the same day at no charge, and found that the left axle was broken. This is the reason the Acura would not move.The...

axle failure is unrelated to the transmission replacement we did back in April. We replaced the left side axle at no charge to [redacted] as a courtesy. It is impossible to foresee this kind of failure 2 months prior.Should [redacted] decide to trade her [redacted] in, the warranty is nontransferable. We went above and beyond reasonable expectations for customer service. It is very disappointing to find that because we did not charge for this service is why [redacted] finds it fishy and is dissatisfied. In 30 plus years we have never had a complaint. Now we get a complaint for not charging for a service that the customer should have been charged for.We are mailing a receipt for the axle to [redacted] although it is against company policy
