Review: I should have done my research before making any purchase from here. Time for new furniture, as my hubby and I had a baby on the way. We walk into Furniture Outlet store. Didn't find anything on the sales floor so we resorted to their catalogs. The two men working were very friendly and helpful. Hubby and I settled on a couch set, put a down payment & they gave us free shipping. Came back December 1st to pay it off and have it set up for delivery. Delivery took over two weeks!!! Finally received our furniture and TWO DAYS later when my hubby goes to recline it the inside wood splits and breaks, then when I go to pull on the handle to open the middle drawer on the sofa the handle rips out (it is only held together with a staple). I contact the store and speak with [redacted] he tells me that's a Guardsman issue, so I call Guardsman and they tell me no it's a manufacturer defect and to call the store back and tell them that and that is is still under manufacturers warranty. So now starts the back and forth and being ignored or taking days to get a returned phone call, and I was lucky if I even got that. [redacted] gives me the email address of Andre (WHO IS WORTHLESS ) up at the O.C. store so I can send pictures of the damage, he is NO help and sends a single line response of "This is a Guardsman issue not ours". In the end [redacted] helped me get the couch replaced after multiple phone calls to them asking for help. We get the replacement couch and low and behold it's damaged. Fabric has a tear in one of the seat cushions, one underneath the arm rest and when I go to pull on the handle of the drawer it rips out, same side as the last time. So back to making phone calls and being told lies. I guess once replaced one time they will not replace again even though I had no hand in causing the damage. [redacted] tells me he will put a claim in, never does. Manufacturer says its up to Outlet on replacing it when [redacted] told me its up to the Manufacturer. LIES!!!Desired Settlement: I want the couch replaced again. I did not spend $1,511.98 (which is a lot of money to me) on furniture only to have problems with it from day one. These were purchased 12/1/2013 and this still has not been resolved. I don't care if they say it's already been replaced once and that is all they will do. How has it become my fault that they keep delivering poorly made product to me and I should be forced to be stuck with expensive poorly made couches. I want a replacement my money back with a return of their furniture. I will not accept that they say they have done all they could. What ever happened to CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. There is a reason they stress on their "contract" NO REPLACEMENTS OR REFUNDS. I am not the first and probably not the last person that will complain about this store, their poorly made furniture and the unresponsive treatment you receive as a customer.
