This is a response to a Customer Complaint made by [redacted], regarding "Billing or Collection Issues.' (Customer's original message also attached).4/14/2016: Customer started Auto and Renters Insurance. Under normal circumstances, this customer would not have qualified for Mstate's Preferred...

Auto Policy, but we were able to get an exception approved by our Underwriters. (Insured had no prior Auto of-RentersrRenters Insurance - Not only were we able to help her get approved in a better rated auto policy, but we were also able to help her get a Renters Policy, which provide a discount on her auto policy that covered the cost of the Renters Policy). At this time, the customer setup payments to draft on the 1411 of each month. (Down payments made with cash).5/22/2016: This was the start of billing issues with the customer, stemming from Allstate's inability to recognize the banking information provided by the customer. Because of these issues, the insured fell behind on their payments. We were able to remove ALL of the expenses related to the Renters Policy & establish a new policy (which we took care of the 11t payment), as well as generate a credit on the Auto Policy of over $150 (exceeding any overdraft fees, and coverage one month of coverage).9/2/2016: Customer's policies appeared to be back on track, with upcoming payments scheduled for 9/22. 9/18/2016: Texted insured to let them know payments that would be drafting on Renters & Auto Policy on 9/22.9/22/2016: Quickly texted insured to let them know that the Auto policy did not draft, but would draft double in October. Insured seemed okay with this. (There was no mention about the Renters Policy bill changing).9/30/2016: Customer received overdraft fee (because they did not have $13 in their bank account), related to the Renters Policy.We reached out to the customer during the evening, after hearing about the issue (and also hearing about their one-sided complaint on Facebook). Customer did not respond.10/3/2016: Attempted to call customer, but had to leave a voicemail.
