The customer requested us to work on his 46 year old tractor, we quoted the estimated repairs & advised him NOT to spend that amount on this tractor. He advised us to go ahead & do the work anyway. He spoke to our service mgr. & service tech...
several times while tractor was being worked on, with no issues at hand. When the work was completed, he drove the tractor home & complimented us on how good it worked. Shortly thereafter, he says he hears "chatter" or unfamiliar "noises" with no loss of performance. We initiated a "no charge" to the customer service call to inspect his claims, we found the tractor performing fine, however, sometimes unusual noises or chatter is common in a tractor of that age. We cannot warranty a repair against unsual noises that pop up erratically. Now he is getting the Revdex.com involved, appearantly to relinquish his responsibility to pay for work performed & attempt to degrade our reputation.
