Review: When [redacted] (company representative) came to our house and cleaned our carpets, my wife and I noticed that there was still a cat odor in the carpet. I repeatedly tried to call all phone numbers affiliated with this business and my phone calls were never returned. They won't acknowledge my attempts to contact them and I am forced to have to contact your office in the hopes of being able to discuss with them the unsatisfactory results of their work, which I paid for. Thanks for your help in this matter.Desired Settlement: Contact me first, then redo the shoddy work.

In reference to our conversation earlier, here is the situation. As a carpet cleaning service professional and owner of my company I make sure to inform my customers and my technicians of a few simple truths about carpet cleaning. As a rule, when there is any animal urine in carpet it is very difficult to get 100% out. Yes, there are many instances where the spot in which the urine is can fade and the smell not be as NOTICEABLE, however there will still be a phantom scent. This is especially potent for feline urine. What happens is the urine not only gets into the carpet but soaks into the pad underneath the carpet and eventually onto the concrete that is the base under the carpet and pad. When this happens, the only remedy to get the smell out 100% is to replace the carpet and thoroughly clean the concrete. These situations can be more then a carpet cleaning service can handle due to the fact that the stain is no longer only in the carpet. Especially when there are multiple stains of urine and the length of time it has been there.

As for my customer in question, I called him and left him a message telling him that. When we were out at the residence we noticed the carpet had many animal urine stains that were soaked in and for a prolonged amount of time. There is nothing more we can do as carpet cleaners. We have gone above and beyond trying to make him happy. We try to make sure every customer is satisfied and happy with our service; for that is how we have stayed in business and earned so many awards. We will continue to make sure our customers are satisfied and make sure our name is always associated with quality and friendly service.

I am rejecting this response because:the business owner has not told the truth. He did not call me and leave a message, in fact I repeatedly tried to get ahold of him and he would not return my calls. He would not respond to my repeated efforts to discuss the situation. I can show the repeated times I tried to call from my phone if needed. Additionally, he knows as well as I know that no mention was made of an inability to get rid of a small amount of dog urine. While I understand pet urine may be difficult to rid a carpet of completely, I also understand that being charged extra (which I was) for an additional chemical should have done more than it did.I also understand is that it was a lackadaisical effort on his part To perform satisfactory service. I was not asking for a comple redo, just the small area I feel like he did not do well enough. I am not satisfied with the service and would like either a refund or a redo of the small area that was afomentioned.
