I have received notice of a complaint with a reference # of [redacted] , on 10/07/I am aware of the incident, and have provided the customer with resolve In response to the customers complaint; we done everything possible to be helpful to the customer, and to provide him with the absolute best service possibleOn 09/17/2016, the customer purchased tires from our location, as well as a wheelAt the time of the original purchase, the customer was offered the opportunity to purchase optional Road Hazard protection for the tire, and refusedOn 09/24/2016, the customer returned to our store, and stated that the tire had “just blown out”Upon inspection of the tire, it was determined that the tire had suffered damage resulting from an impact of some sort, thus causing the tire to failAt that time, we informed the customer, that he would be responsible for purchasing another tire, because he had not purchased the Road Hazard protection on the original tireHe became very upset, and started to use profanity with our employees, and in front of customers, including a young childIn an attempt to satisfy the customer, and provide great customer service, I offered to provide the customer with a new tire at NO cost to him, but informed the customer that he would be responsible for paying the cost of mounting the tire, which was around $He refused, and left our storeOn 10/06/2016, The customer returned to our store, and again started using profanity towards our employees, and again, in front of customersAt that time, I provided the customer with a full refund of his original purchase We went well above and beyond what we were required, in an attempt to provide the best service possible, and ensure that the customer was satisfiedAt the time of every tire sale, each customer is provided with the opportunity to purchase the optional Road Hazard protection for their new tires, this protection is offered to cover unforeseen damage to their new tires, due to objects in the road, that may render the tire unrepairableIf the customer refuses, they acknowledge that any damage resulting from “road hazards”, will not be covered under our policySimilarly, when one purchases a home, auto, or any other major purchase, they generally purchase coverage of those items, in the event of damage or destruction Our company offered this customer with every possible resolution, and the customer was just simply unreasonable If you need further information, please feel free to contact me Thank you [redacted]
