Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

To whom it may concern, [redacted] On 3/18/16 [redacted] brought in his vehicle complaining of overheating and coolant leaking. We started our inspection and found an oily substance in the cooling system that we found out , by talking to the customer, that he put in stop leak. We...

pressure tested the system and found the Radiator leaking. At that point we spoke to the customer and recommended replacing the Radiator so the system can be sealed and ran for further inspection , we also recommended replacing the Thermostat due to vehicle overheating and because of stop leak installed which can clog certain systems- Customer authorized Radiator but declined Thermostat. After repairs were done the vehicle was test driven and ran in shop to confirm repair. At that point vehicle was rechecked and fan operation was normal and fluid circulation was ok. Customer picked up vehicle on 3/24/16 5 days after repairs were complete and after driving ,vehicle overheated again. Customer returned that afternoon 3/24/16 and we inspected again. Vehicle is equipped with an Electric Water pump and when checked the pump was not staying on causing lack of fluid circulation which resulted in vehicle overheating. We made our recommendation of replacing Water Pump and Thermostat. Customer declined repairs. We recommended not driving vehicle due to possible internal engine damage that can be caused by overheating.. Customer drove vehicle home. We understand the customers’ frustration with unplanned vehicle repairs. We are willing to assist the customer with a discount on the needed repairs or we can reinstall his old radiator and offer a full refund.
